Cliffs: Vols moved to the top of the list after his visit. The players that he met really like this staff. Said it was a family atmosphere where the previous staff was more like a military regime. I don't think he is the commitment that is expected today. He said he wants to take a few weeks to reflect and talk to his family.

Whoever commits, the staff must feel they can contribute. They're not gonna waste spots on guys they have no faith in. So even if it's a two star, they must see something they like. The test, as it has always been, will be on field results. As long as we win on the field, all will be well.

Hate to sound like a broken record, we say this with every new staff, but we have to trust the coaches until they give us reason not to trust them. Whoever commits, the staff must feel they can contribute. They're not gonna waste spots on guys they have no faith in. So even if it's a two star, they must see something they like. The test, as it has always been, will be on field results. As long as we win on the field, all will be well.

We have had no luck with recruiters trying to be coaches. I am fine with trying something else.
