Are the players going to charge children for autographs now?Unless there is an Al Wilson, a Reggie White, a Willie Gault, a Jason Witten, or a Peyton Manning out there, there won’t be any NIL money coming from this source…the player would have to have a significant impact for me to get anything with their name on it. I would probably still opt for the Tennessee gear rather than player gear anyway…but that’s just me.

you morans keep fighting the good fight. meanwhile some of us moar sophisticated posters will bring much needed high brow humor with gifs & memes!I think this image likeness thing is the way to go the more I think about it. Folks say well some kids are going to get more than others and it will create resentments. What about players getting paid now and others aren't. At least this way all will have the opportunity. We also sadly forget that there are many players that are truly student athletes. We talk about the top players and act like they all don't care about nothing but money. That is not even true, sure many want that but most players still want to win. I think this move will keep alot of folks from jumping to the nfl, sure some will and need to go but for the borderline draft guy if he is making money and has the upside he may be more apt to staying in school and get his degree while getting paid. Not all players will make a ton of money with the NIL but I think more are going to make some money than people realize. Sure a segment of kids will misuse their money, but it is a good time to learn from it when you are in college and still getting paid. At the end of the day, I think this will help college football more than hurt it. Also I think it will impact classrooms because not making the grades and losing that money will hurt more now. The NCAA and it's turtle like ways are what caused this, and the NCAA should have gotten on board with NIL instead of going to court over it to begin with. GBO!!!!!!
Plenty will though
It’s funny looking at some of the autographs I’ve gotten over the years, a lot of them never went anywhere after college so they just look like random names. I have Blake Mitchell’s autograph. Doubt any of you remember who that is
I don’t think people will pay for a Brian Maurer autograph but they will for the starting QBs autograph….. like someone said some of these smaller players may take advantage as well by putting products on their page if they have enough followers.Think so? I don’t. Especially since they set a fair market value on it. So big timers won’t waste their time with that, which would have otherwise been the big draw to the lesser valued players.
Best way for most of these players to pull this off is to host camps and pool together resources.
