Yes, we have talent. But we've also lost a lot of talent-- and with it went productivity and experience. We have roster holes and depth issues, and injuries in the two-deep would be very costly. But we have no choice but to be patient and see what the coaches can do with what we have and the transfers they bring in.
We've had a lot of guys portal in and out and some players missed spring ball, so this team hasn't even practiced yet. We haven't seen what we have or how the pieces will come together. We don't know for sure how the QB scenarios will play out. I think that makes it difficult to predict outcomes. It does give us something to look forward to, now that baseball is over.
He was a bad hire. No college HC experience and terrible as an NFL coach. Really good assistant. I thought his dad was going to kill it as DC, but he was putrid in his one year here.Kiffin was a home run on paper, especially with him bringing O and his hall of fame daddy as DC. The way things played out there is plain Big Orange bad luck.
Dooley is the one that didn’t have the resume to even make the short list.
It depends on the location. There are some awful McDonald's in Knoxville, but there are (or maybe were) a few good ones. I think the general manager of the place is huge, but with today's pool of potential workers who actually want to work, most of these places are going downhill, for sure.I think they are slowly dying. Which is a shame. Back in the day they were amazing.
Now, the apathy of McDonald's employees has nothing on Krystal's. I've been to a handful of them in the last few years and I feel like I'm gonna have to run hands with the cashier just to get my stale food.
Let's discuss apathy, restaurants in South Carolina. Snails move faster.I think they are slowly dying. Which is a shame. Back in the day they were amazing.

i listen to general podcasts, not just our guys. They put us at 5th in the East. And yes, I don't have the luxury of living in Tennessee. Everyone where I live is a UGA, Clemson or USCe fan generally.Hang out with those guys exclusively, do ya? Explains some things. Get off their teat or double up and quit pretending.
And I live in Frisco, TX…how’s that for luxury? If you’re willing to listen, there are perpetual OTHER fans practically eager to tell you how much your team sucks…even when they don’t. I was in the AF in the early 90’s. Never heard a positive word about the program save from OTHER VOL FANS. You’re not in a think tank, professor.i listen to general podcasts, not just our guys. Perfectly said.I only expect us to win at, or above, our talent level. As long as that is what we are doing, and the trajectory is up, patience isn't a problem. The problem is that we've been performing well below our talent level, and the trajectory wasn't up. There will always be the vocal minority who think that if we aren't beating Bama we're failing, but Neyland will be full if we are beating the teams we should beat with the talent we have. There is zero reason that we can't win 8 to 9 with good coaching, evaluation, and development.
And honestly, this whole NIL thing should make it possible to (legally) compete with the teams that get us to 10+ wins. The Tennessee fan base is massive and will readily spend money if there is optimism that we have a coach who can coach footbaw and recognize asparagus.
Considering neither Middleton or Emerson were going to start regardless, it is absolutely insane to say they are worth multiple wins lol.Yup. That'll be the difference in a win or two if we lose those guys. The holes we are going to have on this roster is insane, still something a lot of folks aren't realizing here.
