Far from tax free. Same as acedemic scholarships. Costs beyond tuition and related expenses are taxable - namely room and board and stipends for athletes, IRS doesn't care if you have an academic or athletic scholarship. If it isn't for tuition or books, taxes are due.I am willing to pay money to see the Vols because that money goes to support every team and the facilities for those teams that wear the UT uniform...not just the footbl.team
I would never watch or care about a minor league football team. I want the NFL to start there own farm so the idiots that don't care about their education or Tennessee in general can go there and waste their life..I won't care.
Everybody keeps throwing that Billion dollar number around, but UT does not make a billion dollars. The players should be happy to get the outrageously expensive education that they earn...plus all the other stuff that comes with it..tax free.
**** the mercenaries...I am sick of them.
I don't hate Kelly Harper. I just don't think she'll have the Lady Vols in the final four any time soon, probably never.Just want to make sure I have all this straight.
Checkerboards hates Barnes.
Upstate and Voltaire hate Fulmer.
Invol hates Coach Harper.
Bruin hates Vitello.
Hillbilly hates all football coaches except Chip Kelly.
We all hate Pruitt, Jones and Dooley.
Does anyone hate Karen Weekly?
I don't know the names of any of our other coaches, which is actually kinda sad. Does anyone hate any of them?
Thanks.
The dude was acting like a clown and flinched at him like he was gonna do something. As soon as he flinched, he was hit. People need to watch who they’re trying to act tough to. He could’ve gotten his brains splattered all over that place if that guy would’ve mounted himSo he rudely bumped the dude, then sucker punched him when he took issue it. Yeah, he gon' lose some coin.
Because he punched a guy a couple times that started crap with him in a bar? I’m not seeing what y’all are seeing
He started it. He pushed the guy. If the guy had pulled a gun and blew his brains out would that be justified? He didn't have to throw a punch. He'll make bank. His actions were totally unjustified IMO.Because he punched a guy a couple times that started crap with him in a bar? I’m not seeing what y’all are seeing
There was no imminent threat to him. The guy was clearly drunk and he could have clearly kept walking and not been threatened. He chose to engage. That was not sufficient level of force to neutralize the threat. No one knows what the drunk said. @VolGee4 am I wrong here?
Not really in reply to your comment except the "make bank" statement, it's just wild to me how quick we are to sue others in society. Medical/dental bills aside of course. I could just see this being one of those "he hurt my public image...I'm the barback here at Paddy's Pub...I'm suing for 55 billion dollars..." type of situations. He started it. He pushed the guy. If the guy had pulled a gun and blew his brains out would that be justified? He didn't have to throw a punch. He'll make bank. His actions were totally unjustified IMO.
Does this make @engineerVOL a licensed attorney? He passed the test.Just based off that video, I would agree with your assessment.
