That dude needs his a$$ kicked….. the worst/best fight I ever saw was at a bar in maryville….. These two women went out and started dancing together while thei bf’s watched…. Two other guys tried grinding on them….. The bf’s came out on the dance floor and brought an a$$ kicking with them.

Lol. How many people do you think have been in a bar fight? Probably not many because reasonable people walk away.

All he had to say was “didn’t mean any harm with the push” and walk away. Drunk guy would have never remembered it.

Some people aren’t bred this way. Some people aren’t saints. Just because he reacted the way he did doesn’t mean he should be able to be sued to high heaven.

Hey @InVOLuntary...you should start building teardrops or other simple mini campers at your shop....The companies that build them charge from $7-10,000 prices for those stripped down little things, something that I know they don't have $2-3,000 in at most...

And they all stay backlogged 6-9 months. If somebody put out a well made model for half to 66% of that price they would still make money on each unit, and absolutely corner the market.

Look in Ohio. They normally have good prices on campers

These are not world renowned players
I’m glad they can make some money but there’s gotta be only x amount of people willing to pay them for stuff, right?

So you must be one of those rare people who stay completely in control when drunk. No changes in judgement, no changes inhibitions. Most are not. They say dumb things. They do dumb things. So pontificating while sober about how dumb he was is kinda pointless.

He struck first. One punch can kill. Trained fighter vs a drunk. I hope he gets sued.

And yes, I would be completely justified in defending myself with a gun against a guy half my age and twice my strength, who is a trained fighter and who took the first shot.

I have a nice little scar over my eye from having a fractured orbital from being to drunk and trying to fight someone.

Guess what. I learned a lesson. So no I don’t think he should get sued. You make stupid decision and do stupid things you pay the consequences.

Also, no you wouldn’t be completely justified. You would definitely get manslaughter charges lol.

Not saying everyone doesn't already know this but if you're smart, recruiting for any school can completely flip in one year. All it takes is the right boosters and planning.

No one has a clue right now and the NCAA is the most clueless of them all. It's the wild west.

It matters because being drunk and stupid is not a legal defense for assault and battery.

Question. Without knowing the guy is a fighter. If a drunk guy in a bar gets ready to throw a punch at you, what would you do?

You just going to let him land it? You going to dodge it and walk away calmly? You going to dodge it and punch back? You going to punch him before it lands?

Lol, I mean it’s easy to sit on the sideline and be like “well he is a fighter he can kill people with his hands blah blah blah,” but take a normal person into account and I guarantee you that a normal person doesn’t just stand there and let the individual punch him and I almost guarantee you that every time a fight ensues. The issue with this one is the fighters punches were so accurate there was no “fight” to be had because ol boy went night night.

Stipends are non-taxable. This is incorrect. You don’t pay taxes on anything like that especially not room and board. All of this is figured into your “scholarship”

That has never been the IRS rule for room and board. Likely applies to meal plan too.



Stipends, you could be right. I'm only familiar with stipends where services are required (teaching for example). I'm guessing they don't want to say football is work/services performed, so yeah I could see that not being taxed. On the other hand are the funds used for incidental expenses or school-related? I'd guess this is just ignored by most anyway. Good point.
