Just a guess. I think the investigation advanced faster than you seem to think.

It is very likely that enough to fire him was known before the investigation was actually complete.
I GUESS we disagree on everything…including what’s “likely”.

Don't know how their investigation was started. The internal leak is not the issue. The issue is everything should have been kept under wraps until its completion. If the media asked anything about it, then she or the PR department should have advised them that we do not comment on any investigation until completed.
I think it should have occurred the way it did.

Exactly, you never openly gv the media and other schools recruiting tools to take the kids you need. Just stupid as hell on Plowman's behalf but she's never had to handle big time athletics and the elements that come along with it or an investigation. You mk a blanket statement and let the shyt play out as it goes. Not go tell the world from the mountain top wth has gone on and expose the school and program as a whole.
You are pretty ignorant to think that Plowman is the only one making decisions on this, especially when it comes to a decision to remove a coach, and even more an AD who was considered a legend.

You keep forgetting that people inside the AD were not going to keep it under wraps if it meant JP was not going which meant PF would have had to fire him, and he was not willing to do that. If everyone was working together then things could have gone the way they should have.

I tend to believe this to be the truth. Fulmer's stubbornness blew up the ship and they had to navigate a totally new path.

Damn fireworks are scaring my dog. I may have to go whoop some ass.
Always thought as a kid "I'm never gonna be that guy getting mad about fireworks". But then I grew up and got a dog and now I'm like "Damn it's 10:30 go to bed" 😂. My pitty doesn't bark at them but he is not a fan.

Exact same situation? They have a leak who slapped the whole mess on their Chancellor’s desk? Doubt it since Mullen wasn’t even implicated. One size doesn’t fit all.
Mullen was hit with a show-cause for recruiting violations. To agree with your one size doesn’t fit all however, not the first time Mullen was busted. MSU admitted paying Leo Lewis while Mullen was there and Mullen/MSU admitted they offered Cam 180k. Mullen is the only coach in the SEC who has admitted to cheating. Ed O might have confessed, no one can be sure...

They could not find an interpreter?

How does anyone come to an opinion how it should have been handled when it is not over and very few of the facts have been revealed?
The fact it's not over yet is part of the opinion, if I'm being honest.
