Dad confession: I enjoy it about as much as they do. In fact, doing stuff with them like watching cartoons is one of my greatest joys of being a dad. It’s like being a kid again. I love it.

Same brother! Love our “good-night shows” with Bluey. Seen ‘em all. Watched Muffin Cone after that one .

If you have boys and they like dinosaurs get hooked on Camp Cretaceous on Netflix. It’s animated Jurassic Park set with kids that get left on the island (because of course). Little intense for a bedtime show though. No blood or biting or anything. I loved it.

What I love about Bluey is that it’s only 7 minutes, except at bedtime it’s always “Aw, c’mon dad. Just one morrreeeeee.”


Because I’m a girl dad, it’s always at least one more episode. What can I say? I’m a sucker.

I spent a month there once, so yes.

Did my Pulmonary medicine rotation at the JC VAMC. I needed a place to stay. They put me in a dorm at ETSU for the month for $150. Thought that was pretty cool. No phone, no tv, no problem.

Once I got there, I was the only person in the dorm. It was an older dorm. Community showers and toilets. I am on the 3rd floor and literally the only person in the entire dormitory. It was really freaky. Quiet as the grave. Of course my dorm room is down the hall from the community shower/bathroom. It was creepy as hades. Just so freaking eery. Imagine coming back from working out, studying and then deciding to take a shower around midnight and you are the only source of noise. I kept thinking of the shower scene from Psycho… good times

You know what dorm you were in? I was in McCord. Sadly it's been torn down now. I have a lot of good memories and to this day a lot of good friends from that place.

You know what dorm you were in? I was in McCord. Sadly it's been torn down now. I have a lot of good memories and to this day a lot of good friends from that place.

Oh that’s right. IIRC we already arranged their marriages few years ago. So we got that out of the way. We can be friends-in-law now. I promise their good boys, but feel free to embarrass them with your striated quads and ‘Merica undies if need be.

I wouldn't say we didn't want him anymore. He was hired by Josh Heupel, who hasn't even been on the job 6 months yet. If he had been a holdover, I would agree, but he wasn't.
