Same brother! Love our “good-night shows” with Bluey. Seen ‘em all. Watched Muffin Cone after that one 😂.

If you have boys and they like dinosaurs get hooked on Camp Cretaceous on Netflix. It’s animated Jurassic Park set with kids that get left on the island (because of course). Little intense for a bedtime show though. No blood or biting or anything. I loved it.
My girl loves camp cretateous. She's loves bluey also. The grandpa episode gets me every time.

X-Terras are pretty stupid looking vehicles if you think about it.
Have an acquaintance who traded his old Xterra for new. Nice guy, was surprised at why they made him such a great deal. Nissan. Thing rattled like a tin can.

Conversely, my Pop's 10 year old 4-Runner drives as great at 170K as it did off the lot.

Not even a fair argument....almost any toyota drives 200K+

This was inevitable. I think it’s the right thing for these kids. Too much money in the game for them not to have a way to participate while in college.

I agree it forever changes the sport, though. I confess my nostalgia for the pre-playoff / pre-NIL era will grow deeper over time. But it’s the right thing for the kids.

I think in my head I would have liked for the playing field to somehow stay level but I don't have a proposal for how that could have happened. I guess on the other hand the playing field is completely unlevel currently because the same 4 teams are always in the playoffs and landing the top classes and meanwhile 3-7 Tennessee is on probation for recruiting violations.

I had a '90 4-Runner that shat the bed in Bozeman, MT after making it across the good old US and A. Threw a rod. 3.0L V6. I think it was one the first iterations after the perfection of the 4 cyl engine, which if you talk to truck guys is still sought after. (asked a guy in Kport if his 89 4wd was for sale other day, he laughed).

It was either in 92 or 93 they upgraded to 3.4L which of course was a fantastic engine.

New 4-Runners are built for nurses and soccer Moms.

If i has money id import a diesel version of Aussie or UK Landcruiswr equivalent, a DJ, stock rebreather still with invertef seats in back.

There are Companies that import them (post '05 I believe, that qualify for the import regulations). Nothing less than 100K miles.

Something to that effect.
