He wasn't ever going to do anything....he was done. There is a great reason nobody hired him...he was stuck in the past.

It wasn't wrong to fire him, he deserved firing by the end...what was bungled was the horrid coaching hires after him.
He may have been done but it was incredibly stupid to fire him in order to hire Kiffin.

I haven't been a fan of the NBA for years, so I decided to watch some of the game and it didn't take long to remember why I quit watching it. Shoot a three, run down the court wait for the other team to shoot a three. Get fouled wallor on the floor shoot a foul shot run down wait for the other team to shoot a three or wallor on the floor and shoot foul shots...........great game.

The NBA has now turned into MLS except they can touch the ball with their hands. Absolutely disgusting. A guy gets bumped and it looks like a sniper shot him from the upper deck.
ESPN had the Aussie Open for non ESPN plus viewers. Its a shame Wimbledon isnt part of reg package.

@Jackcrevol Not sure what you mean. They cover it during the day on the main ESPN channel typically and the Tennis Channel reruns matches with their own commentators at night...

NBA really is the one league I just don’t get anymore. There’s just no beauty in pro basketball. Coaches are irrelevant. Strategy essentially irrelevant. Just tell these dudes to meet up at the local high school and the game would look exactly the same. It’s pick up basketball with less fat dudes sweating through their shirts.

Nobody was talking about us being a low talent team when we led against GA at the half. Its amazing how the narrative has flipped to now we have no talent. I don't buy it. I also don't buy that our best players left in the portal. As I said above, Henry and Gray are good, neither are irreplaceable and I actually think we may have replaced them with the guys we've brought in anyway. If we had a QB last year, we may have beaten GA, and then how would the season have played out?

After JG came out and gave the game away, the team quit, and that was obvious. Soon as JG threw the pick 6 against KY the next week, the season was over. This team quit. I don't think that's a lack of talent. That's a lack of heart in the culture of the team who quit on their QB and on their coaching staff. There's still talent on this team. Are we GA or Alabama? No. But we are still more talented than every team we will play this year outside the big 3 imo. There's a lot of talent here, especially on offense.
Agreed. Our culture is why Salters had 2 arrests and 0 practices. It’s why we had several incoming and returning DL decide not to play for the guy who’s put countless players in the NFL. It’s why Pruitt lost more games by 25 points through 3 years than any coach in SEC history. That’s going to take longer to fix than overall talent.
