Nothing against him. Happy for him. I just have a hard time considering anyone that plays football anywhere after Tennessee a Vol For Life. You know, because Tennessee is the only thing I care about.

I mean it would be different if he left on his own, and had never played 5 years here…. But he was literally forced out otherwise without COVID year he would have been trying to make a pro roster right now and would have only went to Tennessee.

I don’t understand why anyone would not consider him a VFL. Again, normal circumstances he would be trying to make an NFL team right now and would of only went to UT.

Please be in prayer for our 16-month-old son. His pediatrician believes he has been having seizures and has referred him to a pediatric neurologist. He goes on Friday. Regardless of the diagnosis, I trust in God’s will above my own.

Absolutely, prayers sent. Beautiful child!

How quick we are to forget JG had the lowest int rate in recent UT history, since at least the early 90s.

All in all, he gave his body up constantly and is a VFL. Wish him the best.

You or I could have done the same thing. Stand back there like a statue unable to read coverages, take sacks, throw the ball into the ground or out of bounds, etc. - instead of throwing picks. That said, I still wish him the best as well. Just glad it is in Pullman and not in Knoxville.

Yes. Eat them as in DEVOUR THEIR VERY SOULS.

Gave you a like, but I don’t want gator souls. Would definitely leave a bad aftertaste and most likely cause serious bowel issues.

How bout we chew em up and spit out the remains?
Or bulldoze them into the ground. Air raid carpet bomb until the swamp is unidentifiable?

So graduated is what counts? I thought Vol For Life meant consumed, orange-blooded, nothing else until the day I die, Al Wilson types. That throws a little red on the orange to me. But I am the cheerleader here.
In his defense, I think he saw the writing on the wall. He entered the portal on his own, but how many here would have been furious if he had stayed. This guy is one of the most hated players in history, to be honest and he always played hard and by all accounts, was a good teammate. I don't mind calling him a VFL.

Wes got jokes 😂😂

The absolute Solid Gold standard of strip clubs.

Nothing like it...back in the day.

Well played Wes, well played

He said that a deranged fan named Christian Lowe pulled up outside his house with a moving van that said LSU or bust on the outside of it.

From the part I heard…… he said that he loved the area, fans, team…… wanted to go ahead and make it official for recruiting……probably losing the recruit taken by Tampa Bay as well as the first rounder…. Said he supports any Vol that decides to go pro……. Stated that the main thing with recruiting/draft is that you don’t want to leave any holes in your roster/lineup and he feels they were able to do that……. Stated stadium plans not finalized but he and DW shared a similar vision that they will continue working on that it would be a long process.

I joined VN and became fully invested in vol Football when Derek Dooley was in his first year as HC. I know nothing but pain.

If I leave we will return to Glory.

Nah - this has nothing to do with superstition or throwing Jonah into the sea to calm it during a storm. You need to stay so you can see and feel what it is like to have a real football program. We had a couple decades of it during the Dickey tenure - UT leaders just lost sight of what was important to keep it going.

For long term success leadership has to operate with the understanding that no one person or thing can be more important than the overall university and its programs. That even includes themselves or their biggest donors/benefactors. Those folks need to be willing to stand down or step aside when things get sideways for the betterment of the university.

Emphasizing good character while owning the responsibility to fix issues and not pass the buck - that always wins. That's what Randy, Donde and Danny are doing. You have to acknowledge the bad and be transparent about fixing it. They have.

Randy and Donde hit a grand slam home run with Danny.

It's time to ride.
