Arky has an average player ranking of 3.0 with a couple 4*'s in recent classes per Rivals. There is no competition for those players from Texas and Okie. Arky may actually gain a little ground due to the rivalries that will be rekindled from the old Southwest Conference days. Arky has been playing Bama, LSU, Auburn and aTm yearly. Okie and Texas are no big thing for them - they know what to expect. Tens of millions of more dollars revenue per year will outweigh the extra burden.

Missouri competed, but has never been a dominating football program in its history. They also went through a huge drop in student enrollment when they went woke some years back. They are still recovering from that. They will want the money IMO, because it changes nothing about what type of program success they will have long term. At best, middle of the pack no matter what conference they are in.

I dont think people are knocking the compliment or the fact he could be impressive. I think people are calling out the guy who made the comment as being fos and that he probably never saw anything at all.

Obviously we know Heupels wins went down each year. Last year covid was hard for everyone. Do we see this as him running UCF into the ground or just some unlucky close losses?

I’ll be honest. I’ve gotten on every train and gotten hyped up with every new coach but we’ve been bitten so many times. I’m afraid of of getting my hopes up. I want to but I don’t know if I trust Heupel to be the guy.
