@nicksjuzunk tweaked my back finishing a pull on one of my light sets late last week. Rested it a couple of days and then re-tweaked it two days ago. Any suggestions for rehab exercises to get it loosened up?
edited to say retweaked it just picking up a dumbbell. Wasnt deadlifting at the time.
I know you didn’t ask me and sorry if I’m overstepping, but I wanted to give my 2 cents. I would encourage you to get to the root of the problem. Recurring injuries like a “low back tweak” shouldn’t be dismissed. You sound like an active person, so I wouldn’t expect you to be the kind where picking up a dumbbell would cause this reaction. Inversion tables/general stretching and exercises are great tools, but there may be something specific going on that a orthopedic therapist could help assess.

Then give up, dude! You don’t get outside help on your way to greatness. Iowa State was a winless team…as was Baylor. You look silly when you lay on your back with your legs in the air…like a bug! Compete from the beginning and repeat as necessary.
MC at Iowa St also had the luxury of absolute zero expectations in building it his way...that matters bigly.

NOBODY is getting that kind of patience or understanding from this fanbase...and that pressure is extremely corrosive.

It doesn't matter what I, or you or any of us peons think about this stuff anyway...they gon do whut they want.

I personally don't care anymore...I'm a Vol till I die.

Clemson and Ohio State have won titles in the past decade playing in weak conferences that have allowed them to build coaching stability and sustained success.

My point isn’t that it is impossible for Tennessee to win looking at the program in isolation, it’s that on a relative basis we would now be squarely beneath 8 other teams in the conference. No objective coach, commentator or recruit puts today’s Tennessee above Bama, A&M, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Texas, or Oklahoma. It’s a much tougher sell, particularly with so much going against us right now (NCAA, bad roster, sky high fan expectations, etc.).

I think this makes rebuilding Tennessee much harder.
Let's join the ACC

How does lowered expectations make you PLAY better? Seems more of a drawback that he fought through. Pressure wears down the mediocre to bad coaches and that’s what we’ve hired. When that changes the resources are there to succeed at the highest level. And it’s not the entire fanbase. It’s the downtrodden and moribund that wants the world to quit hurting them…and you during your bad cycles. 😏

We have a losing record against Mizzou since they joined the conference, knowing that, I can't get myself excited to play OU or Texas. We have been struggling with Vandy, SC, and Mizzou for the past decade and that is with a recruiting advantage that seems to be evening out (look at Mizzou's class compared to ours). I began watching every game in 2010, so I no doubt have BVS, but we need more easy games not less. I would like to see us be relevant at some time in my life. It is what it is, but it isn't good for Tennessee.

If you think Tennessee’s resources equal or exceed those of Texas, Texas A&M, and Alabama (for starters) when competing for coaches than I just don’t know what to say.

Resources are there to win in a generic sense - top 15 or so in CFB. But probably middle of the road in the SEC…

Excellent point. Coming to UT in the SEC and rebuilding is just a much more difficult task than say at Clemson.

Then you probably shouldn’t say anything if your point is that only Texas, Texas A&M and Bama are capable of winning championships. That’s been proven untrue multifold. There are plenty of coaches to hire, you just need to select correctly. Those teams you cited can’t hire everyone on the market. The Vols were listed above Florida in team values recently. Your poor mouthing extend to them? There’s nothing RESOURCES wise that has ever limited us. We simply had bad admin who withheld the money generated and HC’s with deficient gameplanning and program building. If you want to stay in your safe “middle of the road” fallout bunker, don’t peek when the noise starts.

Prostride for animals?
Looks like PRP… no human insurance pays for it now. PRP works as well as the visco supplement injection, but insurance pays for visco.
Yes I do a ton of Prostride in my performance horses. Have tremendous success with it, especially in joints with significant cartilage damage and soreness.

It happened a couple of weeks ago and then I returned to working out before I’d probably rested it sufficiently if I’m being honest. I’d never really had any back issues before that. I’m going to rest it for several days and see if it’s just a matter of a strained muscle. If it persists, I’ll look into it further.
