Finding out about a lot of people I'd hate to go to war with.
"It's too hard, let's just run away!"
I don’t see how this would ever happen. You can’t force minors to go to a school without pay which is essentially what a college draft would be.I’d be content with the new super conference realignment if recruiting switched to a draft.
In professional sports, the worst teams get the top picks, etc.
College football is the opposite. It heavily favors dynasties. That would continue and get much worse in this reconfiguration.
I'm seeing advantages to getting Bamma and Auburn in the east. Hell we play Bamma anyway.

I’m not scared of either one. I just recognize that it’s harder now for us to get back depending on how they realign. We have a long way to go, and even if they’re paper champs, OU is far better than us right now. My only hope is that this somehow makes our permanent schedule easier, tho we’ll always be playing 4-6 top 12 teams every year no matter whatI’m not scared of those programs. Maybe it’s just me.
Texas has been awful
Oklahoma paper champions in wet paper sack conference. Destroyed every time they play something with a pulse.
Let’s do this. Give us Texas every year. Fans with elitist attitude and football team that is terrible. Can’t wait to introduce them to Tennessee Trash Talk
it isnt about being scared its because this stupid decision is made about money. just isnt fun anymoreI’m not scared of either one. They are absolutely going to a 12 team playoff. There is no advantage for adding more good teams to the SEC with the current 4 team playoff model not sure how our fans are not grasping this concept, it has nothing to do with being a “coward” or “pride” for wanting a logical easier road. If it changes to 12 teams in the playoff then I am all for adding Texas and Oklahoma.
Well then it’s on us to be relevant again. The SEC is not the league to hope your opponents have bad seasons. You have to change your luck by investing in yourself. We aren’t our best right now. Haven’t been in awhile. That’s on us…. Not the league. The schedule is always going to be tough.I’m not scared of either one. That is true. It’s going to be tough for everyone. So we better invest in the program. Hope Heupe is the guyWell then it’s on us to be relevant again. I am not buying the tOSU and Michigan rumors. The B1G is the other superpower right now. They are making a killing with their network are likely to expand as well.
For those of you familiar with the history of pro wrestling, we are watching the collapse of the territory system occur in CFB. Next comes consolidation and the “Monday Night Wars” phase, with the SEC and B1G as the WWE and WCW.
