Avoid Rendezvous and Corkys. Overrated tourist traps
Depends on what you want to eat. If it's ribs you're after then i highly suggest BB Kings on Beale St. It is a tourist trap for sure but somehow their ribs are consistently better than any of the other places in town i've tried in my 8 years living here.

Okay it’s my turn to ask the question as I’ll be going to Memphis tomorrow. Best BBQ joint in Memphis?
Commissary and Central were the two big names that I liked the most, but they had started to go down hill when I last was there 6 or 7 years ago. Some guys on here had recommended some lesser known ones that are apparently amazing, so I'm watching this to see if some of them get recommended. I don't remember the names.

Also, remember the I40 bridge is still out for another few weeks, so traffic will probably be an absolute nightmare.

One & Only BBQ for Pulled Pork Quesadilla

Gtown Commissary for BBQ Nachos

BBQ Shop
Interstate
Central
Paynes

cant go wrong with any of them
Interstate was one of the worst BBQ experiences I've ever had. Bad food, service, building, people, sauce, drinks, everything. BBQ Shop is the one I think you've mentioned before, going to have to try that.

Some interesting articles out there about what could happen with Big 12 programs.

The obvious route is teams will find other P5 homes. WVU to ACC, Kansas/Iowa St/etc to the B1G, and a few others to the PAC. Baylor and K-State left in no man's land potentially if nobody wants them.

But here's the other potential route which would be interesting - calling up and promoting the best current G5 teams - Houston, Memphis, UCF, Cincy, etc. Talk about a whole new landscape that could turn into...which those schools being in pretty good recruiting areas and then having the P5 tag.

The Power 5 is just an arbitrary title that doesn't mean anything.

Adding UCF to your conference and then declaring yourself a P5 conference reeks of declaring yourself National Champion after going undefeated.

"If a team in this conference goes undefeated, are we virtually guaranteed a spot in the playoff?". If the answer is yes, then you are a power 5 conference. I don't think adding those teams from your list would do that for them. Jmo.

Changing the subject, I wasn't on here at the time.

Why did Evan Berry not see the field on offense or defense as a Vol? Why was he only a special teams ace?

I remember at the time thinking his abikities were being absolutely wasted, and it was a travesty he didn't get the ball in his hands more often.

Nah...they'll be playing in SEC by 2023.
My father was in sales for years, he worked closely with the other salesman for the territory who was a mid level booster for Alabama out of Birmingham. Says he's been told 23 is the year and SEC is currently working out details to help them pay their way out.
