I’m 100% not interested in discussing all this again, but Biles did a bit of an AMA about twisties (she does a dismount from uneven bars into a pit and clearly has no idea where she is in space, it’s sad), the alternate situation, etc, so if you’re curious to learn more about it, have a look. If not, and your mind is made up about all of it, just keep on scrolling and have a great weekend!

It's crazy the amount of athleticism that takes.

She's a champion and doesn't own anybody anything. She should be applauded for being courageous and sharing about her mental health.

Yup, absolutely. She unlike the 7 figure pre madonna gymnast who hasnt done **** as LSUr, got rich because she had a twitter account.

LOL, man, I'm not on the hate Biles train, but this reeks of being staged. How convenient she happens to have a camera running to show some ultra obvious fails with a soft mat that immediately get posted to her social media?

She quit, none of us know the full details, and none of us ever will, and anyone who tries to completely absolve or completely condemn her is arrogant and/or rash; but don't post this obviously staged nonsense as evidence for anything.

I'm not currently watching, but this got me to thinking what it would be like if John Ward was calling every athletic event...ever. I believe my judgment of every announcer (again, ever) is somehow subliminally compared to the GOAT. And of course, none measure up. :(

Nope got her mixed with someone else. I was thinking of the curly haired gymnast. Who was really good but stopped being an Olympian because she gained weight and didn’t want to be super skinny anymore.

Edit: The one I was thinking of is Katelyn Ohashi

He didn’t quit before the finals were over with. He retired after the season and being a world champion. Idiotic argument.

*Gets presented the full details from the athlete herself, confirmed as a legitimate issue for gymnasts by professional and Olympic gymnasts, gets supported by her teammates and coaches who back her decision as legitimate*

"None of us know the full details and none of us ever will."

It's certainly an intriguing human condition to flippantly disregard information coming from trustworthy sources as made-up.

Okay, I swear I'm done talking about it.
