I love those drills where the big guys have to catch the football.

I do too. And I like the fact that Martinez is having some interaction with them and not just focusing on the DB's.

I think at this point it is leaning to be the Milton/Hooker show... we are going to need a mobile QB in this offense, especially at first, and even though I think Bailey has the best arm, he simply cannot move/shuck and jive like they can...

I don't know about everyone but, when we were in our heyday, we had some huge, interchangeable hogmollies on both sides of the ball.

i feel like ive watched spring and fall camp footage for a few years now and its more or less all the same, but i've seen a few drills i've never seen before this year. yesterday, the RBs starting from a prone position and having to explode up and out and the OL foot agility drills are a couple that i don't remember seeing previously. its interesting seeing this staff's philosophy manifest itself differently like that.

Austin Price stated on the Swain stated that he feels we will have one of the top offensive lines in the league…. That’s huge if it plays out that way.

AP is usually not the most optimistic. If this turns out to be true then we have potential to surprise some teams. With a running QB and an above average oline anything can happen.

You think Bailey has the best arm? Is this a joke? I’m a Bailey fan but he definitely does not have the best arm he is #4 in arm talent.

If the VQ staff says 8-4 or 9-3 and then we go 6-6, everyone would flip. Of course they are going to go with a safe record and not try to give any false hopes. Screw 6-6, this staff has been winners and I fully expect 7-5 or 8-4. Can’t wait to shut up the haters in the media. Mizzou - we trounced last year and still out talent. KY - they barely score and JG gifted them last year. Big three probably losses. But anyone else, we can beat. No idea why KY and MZ are getting so much love.

Maybe I'm just being homer vol like usual, but I don't understand the clinging to 6-6. First, the schedule isn't very hard, but second, there is talent on this team, especially more than teams we'd have to lose to in order to have that record. We're thin at certain positions like LB and TE, so a couple injuries there could hurt us, but I don't see it.

It's especially strange that the VQ staff constantly speaks to how much we have upgraded this coaching staff at basically every position, and then still say we're going to struggle to become bowl eligible. I don't believe that. If we get QB play, which Heupel always does, we won't do worse than 7-5, but I'd put it more at 8-4 to 9-3. The schedule is just really favorable.

I don’t get the no talent on defense. It’s like we lose Too Too and Crouch and we suck. We literally have almost every valuable piece still back. And Crouch sucked. I would have much rather seen Banks and Beasley. And we brought in Texas starting LB and some other transfers plus Willis. Just lazy reporting. I’m so ready for the season to start.

Same. We lost Henry and BT. We gained upgrades over Crouch and the DL losses in the portal. And we added Turnage at DB. This is not a depleted defense as much as the media wants to tell us it is. Watch what that DL does this year.

Do you have any kids? We went a step up last summer to the XC90 and love it. Got the T6 inscription. My wife was worried about the 4 cylinder engine until we test drove it, and was shown how you can change from eco mode to dynamic, which has a ton of giddy up and go. I got caught up into buying Volvo initially because of the safety features…it’s worth the money to know my wife and daughter are as protected as they can possibly be when they are in a vehicle. Due to the great safety features, full coverage on the Volvo is actually cheaper than liability insurance on my 2010 Tundra!!! That’s crazy! If I am able, we will probably not own anything else as a primary vehicle.

No. I'm 38, single, and no kids. I lease the XC60 through my business. Can't beat it for the money. I got the Inscription with the massage seats and everything. I've owned over 40 vehicles in my life and none have been more fun to drive on a daily basis. My family is a big BMW family but I'm changing them over

If we get above average QB play and he can get the ball to those weapons, good luck stopping it. And it just so happens our coach is one of the best QB developers in all of football.

It'll be a big mystery until we just play some games. Plenty of potential excuses from players being lost, trying to do too much, etc. But they were a very bad defense last year and lost a lot of production. Best case, we are an average SEC defense. I think it's much more likely we are slightly below average.
