They beat the absolute dog sh*t out of us last year,, and about beat us with a WR playing QB the year before.. They're better than us right now and will be the next couple of years too unless one of these QB's set the world on fire.. to say otherwise makes you sound like a Kentucky basketball fan talking about Vol hoops
Maybe I'm just being homer vol like usual, but I don't understand the clinging to 6-6. First, the schedule isn't very hard, but second, there is talent on this team, especially more than teams we'd have to lose to in order to have that record. We're thin at certain positions like LB and TE, so a couple injuries there could hurt us, but I don't see it.
It's especially strange that the VQ staff constantly speaks to how much we have upgraded this coaching staff at basically every position, and then still say we're going to struggle to become bowl eligible. I don't believe that. If we get QB play, which Heupel always does, we won't do worse than 7-5, but I'd put it more at 8-4 to 9-3. The schedule is just really favorable.
Sounds to me like the coaches are anonymously negatively recruiting with those statements.I don’t get the no talent on defense. It’s like we lose Too Too and Crouch and we suck. We literally have almost every valuable piece still back. And Crouch sucked. I would have much rather seen Banks and Beasley. And we brought in Texas starting LB and some other transfers plus Willis. Just lazy reporting. I’m so ready for the season to start.
Yep. Frankly, they had cases of blatant cheating by LSU in hoops. UNC was committing academic fraud and not a damned thing came of those cases. UT purged their athletic department. They lost the best players on the roster. It's killed our recruiting. We've had an enormous number of transfers out. I'd say that's enough punishment. Far more than LSU and UNC suffered. I'd tell the NCAA to f*&^ off and move on with trying to rebuild our program from rock bottom. If they make an issue of it, I'd put those attorneys UT pays a lot of money for to work and take their butts to court.Nah..the NCAA became a dodo bird this year. They just dont realize it yet
