Crompton was a space cadet. All world talent though.

Honestly most of this reads like all the other crap we got when Butch and Pruitt were early in their careers but I do hope that this team is at least easy to root for. Those Pruitt teams ripped the soul out of the program and any ounce of fun to be had.

Over time all the hype sounds the same, and then looking back after the coach is fired there always the “there were issues from the beginning with last coach and the signs were there, but it’s all different now”. We are already in the “we are as talented as everyone except bama and Georgia” phase of camp and after getting excited and believing the hype all these years, I’ve decided to keep my original conservative outlook. Fully expect us to look like we are the team that lost a ton of starters to transfer, and that’s ok.

I must be in the acceptance phase of BVS. Done with denial, depression, anger, and bargaining. Posts of this ilk are starting to make sense.
