So you were one of the many who exited before getting to witness possibly the most important 2:30 in program history? I still remember watching everyone leave and thinking…”we have sat here this long through all of this weather, have 2 timeouts, and 2:30, and your bailing on this team???my roomate and I were headed back to the car to beat traffic, saw cops high fiving and heard the booms.
sidenote: always wish Billy Ratliff had been able to play in NFL.
IDC who plays QB as long as he legitimately gives this team its best chance to win. I want the QB and team to play to win instead of not to lose. The later is all we have seen around here for quite awhile.
Lol...I am firmly in "show me" territory..I am not getting gutted again. I do think to this point that there seems to be a very professional air of competence around this staff...which gives me hope that it will get better down the line. That’s the most optimistic thing that you have said in some time!
15-0
knew you would come around eventually.
I can't argue with that, I just think picking on a phrase made by a very hopeful person like that was overly grumpy..and that is saying a lot coming from me..I’ve been saying it since we fired Pruitt and all the “win/do things the right way” talk started with Donde at the pressers. I don’t think you win in the SEC doing things the “right way”, unless the “right way” is simply putting on the “right” face, saying the “right” things, and then when the doors close doing what needs to be done.
Honestly, DCJW. If Heupel is winning 3 games in year 3 (especially in a normal season with 3-4 cupcakes) he will be gone just like Pruitt. Regardless of “doing it the right way.”
I was at the game….. stayed past the end…… sang with the players…… danced out of the stadium singing Rocky Top and “It’s great to be a Tennessee Volunteer.”
Where have you been while we have been bringing about world peace and Tennessee championships????

Exactly…. I spent a good part of my life making fun of the Florida fans sitting in front of us during the 2004 Florida game….. They talked all kinds of trash to us and left the stadium singing thinking Florida had won….. I would have loved to have been there when they found out Florida lost….Now…. Knowing that one of our own behaved like disgusting Florida fans….. It’s leaving me a little Sick to my stomach this morning. You mean....like a "real" fan? Unlike that hoodlum @Jackcrevol .
Just think if we had the ability to just try any sport we wanted…. I would give it a go as well. LOLTebow should not have even tried out for TE. Maybe when he first went to the NFL he could have developed into one, but at 34 there was no way. Turned into a pathetic publicity stunt. Just stay retired and remain a TV personality.
