Lifelong Steelers fan here. Still should think Dobbs should be the starter. I've seen nothing out of Rudolph and Haskins that gives me any confidence that they're the answer after Ben hangs it up.
What have you seen out of Dobbs? He hasn’t been able to beat out Rudolph who I don’t like….. I’m keeping an open mind about Haskins at this point.

Public Service Announcement:

Avoid Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell injections in the spine. Research isn’t there yet. Definitely avoid unless done in a hospital setting. Chance of infection is unacceptably high in an office setting (where most PRP and stem cell injections are done)
I came to the lecture hoping to hear positive news for my patients. Left thinking that I won’t offer treatment for spine.

Avoid any Amniotic fluid based injections. FDA is going after companies that market/sell it and Medical clinics that useit. Marketing claim of safe and effective are not substantiated. So beware…

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Vols 15-0 this season. Be There!
So I shouldn’t have had the scruffy looking gentleman behind the Shoney’s on N Broadway perform my procedure?

Lifelong steelers hater here and I'd have to agree.

If Dobbs comes in for Big Ben he can at least run, so I feel like you'd rather Dobbs come in for that reason. It's not like Rudolph and Haskins throw all that better and they can't take over with their legs.

TN would have won 9-10 games in 2019 if not for JG. TN would have won at least 6 games last year, if not for JG, maybe more than that. What does that UGA game look like if we had a QB?

We aren't as far off as people think.
Yes and we were literally in a dog fight with the gumps just two years ago!

It's like c'mon yawl, we still went 8-5 with the worst QB in the history of football and a piece of cornbread as head coach.

How much will we miss Gray and Chandler?

- Callahan

May not be -this- season, but I think Wright has the chance to be the best RB outta that room when the dust settles. He's the right size, hungry and is not just the fastest RB but may be the fastest guy on the team...before even getting a spring camp in a D1 weight room program.

I was just looking at UT's top recruits (4* and 5*) over the last 20 years or so and so many names never made a dent. I would say less than 25% were what we expected and hoped for, 50% played and contributed eventually and many of those not up to their recruiting hype and at least 25% were total waste of a scholarship. All those stars have not translated into ball players not just at UT but all over the country......ain't no star system for heart and work ethic which in the end is what really counts. A 3* kid that works will become a good or even great player, a 4* or 5* kid that works can become a legend and a 4* and 5* kid that thinks they can make it on what talent they have alone can become a problem. They can coach technique but they can't coach want to.

When I was in Knoxville in 2015 I listened to Jimmy Hyams talk about this exact thing. We had around 20 5* recruits enroll and all but 4 did not live up to the billing. I forget all the names but Eric Berry was the only impressive one I remember and the others were kind of a stretch.

Like ALL of them? He’s been readily available the last 3 seasons.

When I saw him throw a strike to a WR across the field on time at the goal line pylon of the end zone in tight coverage a week or so ago, the first thing that came to my mind was what are the GM's thinking that need a QB. He could absorb the playbook in 24 hours he is so smart. He never gets rattled and can use the wheels as we all know. smh...

Been saying that. Gray is good, but he's good in how versatile he is. He isn't really an every down back. We're just fine, and I would argue better, at RB with what we have now over him and Chandler. Chandler was not good at all
Gray was a liability in pass protection and so was Chandler. Then both being gone is good for Tennessee.
