Anything about PRP or Stem Cell injections into the wrist for carpal tunnel? I’m 28 with a mild case and I really want to avoid the steroid shots.

Why? PRP is an excellent option there. But a simple steroid shot may work just as well.

Get a good neutral wrist splint. Wear it every night for at least 3 months after the symptoms resolve.
Take vitamin B6 100mg daily for the same amount of time. Super B complex would be good too.

I was more just wondering what you might’ve heard at the conference! I’ve read good things about PRP for carpal tunnel. The steroid shots can be degenerative over time. I had one about a year ago and I don’t like how things have been. 6 months of “like new” and then noticing my left wrist might never truly be 100% again. PRP and stem cells are supposed to be anti-inflammatory yet regenerative. Just sounds way better than the steroid shots. I’ve got some good wrist guards for sleep. Will start taking my vitamins more consistently. 😅

I don’t disagree with this assessment. I thought he zeroed in on his target many times and tried to force the ball into crowded areas with his arm strength. That said, he looks like a natural moving and throwing on the run, and his intangibles seem very very good. If Heupel is the QB wizard that we’ve been sold on, I think the ceiling is incredibly high for what Milton could become over the next 2-3 years. I’m beyond excited to see him in live game action in 2 weeks.
Agreed

Nah, @Jack Burton is sure it is the same old song and dance as always.

I’ve said that Heupel is the most qualified coach we’ve hired since Majors. He has the best resume of anyone since then and possibly the best chance at actually succeeding here if a few things fall our way.

However, the preseason stories are the same old thing. It’s always like this and most people buy into it which is really surprising. That’s fine, live in your hopes, but a .500 season would be a huge success after what we’ve seen over the last 12 months.

Can one of y’all cliff note this article? Is this saying they will not send their clients to UT?
Ubben: If the time comes for Nebraska to move on from Scott Frost, it must avoid the ‘easy’ way out

Really regret giving Ubben the click on that one. This is an interview with Pruitt’s lawyer.

Basically said be careful trying to fire a coach for cause when it’s really about not winning enough. Claims we are setting out athletic department on fire. Etc etc.

Awful article with a very one sided agenda.

I really wish these articles would be released earlier in a coach’s tenure so people will believe the bad news and actually be vocal about change. After hearing this and watching us lose to Georgia State there would have been enough support to fire that goober without setting our athletic department on fire. As usual we waited a year too long.

Aaron Murray said Pruitt didn’t have the emotional intelligence to be a head coach. We should have listened.

I just don't get the logic of this. Great WRs makes a QB look good, but they're not great WRs because they had a great QB throwing to them? I watched a few of those HS games. AG dropped a lot of really good passes. Have AG, RW, and RK made QBs look great during college yet? Maybe they helped each other and will succeed in college if they pair up with other great players.

Used to be you didn't want a freshman starting the first year and not the next year if you didn't have to. HB has time to develop.
Nobody should give up on HB and I hope he becomes the absolute best that his talent allows him to become…. That being said…… no one should look at a players High School stats and use it to determine the type of player he will be in college…. It’s two entirely different games played at two entirely different speeds.

I’ve been looking into Neil Riordan’s work lately. He’s the guy that went on JRE with Mel Gibson and talked about stem cells. They’ve definitely had success with arthritis. Harder to find info on carpal tunnel, but it is mentioned on one of his websites.

A single steroid shot is probably all you need. Along with the other treatments that I discussed in my previous post.

A PRP injection would also work. Not covered by any insurance and much more expensive.

Stem cell is way overpriced and not really indicated for CTS. Works well for arthritis, but that’s not what you are asking about.

Yeah its crazy to look at HS stats, on a College recruiting site. Esp one who excelled in one of best divisions in HS, was highly ranked, and won State Title.

Winner's win.

Wow! I cannot believe PRP is not covered by insurance! My horses that have major medical are covered after meeting their deductible. Does insurance not cover any Biologics?

Too much logic and football smarts in this post, SaS. Take a lap.

My thing with Bailey is when saw him get in games he hit the easy plays but nothing jumped out about him that made you say wow he is the guy for sure. It was more ok he is solid and can be worked with but shrout looked better when he came in. I think Bailey is one that by his junior/Sr yr you see him make his jump. Unfortunately he lost his freshman strength and conditioning year like so many in his class
