Some WSU Cougar fans are gonna get a slap in the mouth when they get a good taste of "Game-Day Guarantano". . . it's kinda surprising that his bad performances are seemingly overlooked. Truth is, I hope he gets it right and has a great year, but it seems like he's still making the same bad decisions with the same bad habits.
😂 Michigan fans are probably saying this about us.

😥

Amen! There was a sports radio host here in DFW who hated Peyton since college. Whenever Peyton conducted one of his masterpieces, this guy would pump up how great Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark was etc. His co-host was a Manning admirer and seemingly fed him material. After the Colts won the SB, he toned it down somewhat but not without mentioning that Dominic Rhodes should be the MVP. 😉
I forgot about that. Remember others saying he would not be doing as well if he was on a different team.

And yet the high school records of the receivers are being used to prove he wasn't good in high school because they were so good in high school. The receiver's college record is not being used in their argument because none of them are making any college QBs look good in an entirely different game at an entirely different speed.....yet. So basically HB's high school record is being used to prove he was not good in high school so he can't be good in college.
I don’t think anyone stated he can’t be good college but just bc you are good in high school does not mean that you will be good in college….. we should know that by all the 4-5* studs that dominated in High school that have absolutely flopped here.

No, people are absolutely saying he can't be good in college and using the logic that he really was not good in high school either because no one would have heard of him if he didn't have 3 great receivers making him look good.

Oof. It'll be a kick to the nuts.

Gotta like the bench at QB.

247 says what Heupel said about how no one has "seriously separated" themselves from the pack isn't disingenuous, though Milton seems the clear choice to start. BUT that Hooker has just been quietly going about his business being consistent day in and day out and he's ready..."laying in the weeds" if the opportunity presents itself. Sounds like we wouldn't need to hit the panic button at all if Milton sadly crashes. Hooker isn't all that far behind apparently...I'll take that as good news.

Joe Milton had the best day by far today…wide receivers are beasts with Tillman having the best day today…..thinks Mitchell and banks will start…… feels jimmy holiday was a load management day….. nothing else really stood out today.
Feeling 6-6 is doable?

Really excited about our receivers

Marvin Harrison was a good receiver but wasn’t HOF until #18 threw the ball to him. Reggie Wayne will wear that jacket also. Players like Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon and Dominic Rhodes benefitted on their bank account from the association. Point is, a player running around real fast without the ball is a fast person…but little else.

Sounds like Hooker is professional about himself. As Butch would say, CEO of the team.

I remember a poster started a thread due to concerns over rival fans pointing out how often he threw to his WEAPONS. If Niner fans only knew what hacks Montana and Young were back in the day for throwing it too much towards Jerry Rice. 😎
