Our DL (losing all those seniors) which only like 2 of the seniors play and it’s a heavy rotation.

As for the OL we lose Cade and Calbert? With sufficient backups per Ellerby.

So again, I don’t agree with your assumptions on our OL and DL. I think those groups will be just fine.

You should probably put some context behind those UCF loses…. It’s not like they were massacred they lost close games

I love how VN argues “close losses” are good when it fits their narrative of JoshH but close losses are bad when it fits their narrative of butch blowing games. It’s really comical really around here to be honest


To the decline at UCf I think it’s much more fair to hope it was more a result of Covid than any real coaching issues.

Off topic but I dislocated my shoulder sunday, but it’s back in place now. Any suggestions on treating for recovery? Or should I go to the doctor? I know some of you in here have PT experience. Any help is appreciated

Not a doctor, but there could be damage in there that needs to be seen through x-ray or MRI.

I mean they were putting up 600 yards a game… (so Huepel’s offense didn’t regress) the defense is where they had issues and Huepel didn’t bring their Defensive Coordinator with him and he hired Rodney Garner for his Defensive Line. He brought Willey Martinez with him who had two DBs drafted last year.

Sounds to me like Huepel realized that he needed to fix that side of the ball. He was also able to do this because he is at TN where coaches actually want to come to because they know they can get the recruits they want.

Also, I love how you loop me in with “all the people hating on Butch for his close loses” (I’ve never judged him on that) he needed to go though and his last year was evident of that.

If you don’t like it don’t support them lol or pick a team that is their rival and hope they get destroyed on the playing field….

But this world has become way too sensitive. Lol.

Btw I wonder how many Irish people stated that the Leprechaun (Fighting Irish) was a bad logo. I bet it was close to 0 of those people being Irish.

Can't wait for all mascots to have to be abstract concepts as to not offend people, animals, or inanimate objects. The Reds and the Browns are well ahead of the game.

I mean what’s the difference in what Alabama was doing? They would score in like 3 plays and have their defense back out there….

Everyone saying our offense going to an up-tempo will hurt the defense is just BS. Want to know what hurts a defense? Not being able to get off the field and not being able to sustain drives. (Evidenced by last years abysmal performance)

If this offense can sustain drives and the defense can get off the field uptempo won’t be an issue.

Yep. And Cheif Osceola is revered within the Seminole Tribe and the outfit design has been collaborated with the Tribe.
