Can't wait for all mascots to have to be abstract concepts as to not offend people, animals, or inanimate objects. The Reds and the Browns are well ahead of the game.
I still remember being at the game when we played Arkansas State in 2007. They had just dropped the name "Indians" and had chucked their mascot so they had a temporary one. It was the stuff of nightmares and people in the stands kept yelling "What the hell ARE you?!" at it. Probably hurt the guy's feelings.

when I say on paper yea I mean it because of the up tempo.
we will never be ranked high on defense. We just need to win games.
But I don’t agree with this.

Alabama basically played up-tempo without playing up-tempo because they were scoring so fast and they still managed to have a good defense.

Like I said as long as drives are sustained (no matter the tempo) and our defense can actually get off the field, then our defense should be fine.

Ugh I hate you all. I appreciate your feedback. The lady is pushing me to go to doctor but I’m stubborn

I have put off going to an ENT for years because I am stubborn. However, I woke up to my wife standing over me with a pillow about to smother me because I was snoring so loudly that she couldn't sleep. I have an ENT appt next Tuesday.

The thing about "offensive" mascots is that they are mostly only offensive to people that aren't fans of that team. If the fans like the mascot and are buying the merchandise then why change it for some fools who have nothing better to do with their lives than be offended by absolutely EVERYTHING?
Crimson Tide reminds me of a woman's "monthly visit." Should be banned.
Lionel Richie offends me as well. Commodores needs to be changed.

Off topic but I dislocated my shoulder sunday, but it’s back in place now. Any suggestions on treating for recovery? Or should I go to the doctor? I know some of you in here have PT experience. Any help is appreciated
Non-physician here. It depends on how it was dislocated (pulled clean, impacted, twisted). It's possible there are small broken bone fragments floating around in there (NO BUENO) that a Dr. would need to check by X-Ray. 3 or 4 of my kids had at least 1 dislocated elbow as a Baby-5 yr old and that's what the on-call nurse always told us. Depends on how it happened. Most of the time we erred on the side of caution and came in to get a quick X-Ray (and sometimes to put the bones back where they go).

How was the 50 yard touchdown pass that went over double-coverage to a spot that only his guy could catch it, allowing a great athlete to make an incredible catch, not a good pass?

Out of curiosity, what's your take on this one:

It was a terrific play. Great pass and fantastic reception. Huge.

Up tempo isn't going to somehow hurt your defense or make them worse. It is going to hurt TOP, and that is going to hurt your defensive stats. But TOP does not matter. It's a meaningless statistic.

Pruitt had a hard on for winning games 9-6 and ****. That's why in three years we won, what, two games by blowout?

That isn't a strategy for success.

First one to 40 and count on your defense for a few key turnovers and redzone stops. If they give up 400 yards of offense who cares.

Bama has slipped statistically on defense playing the higher pace. JoshH plays an even higher paced tempo so keep that in mind
