I went to northwestern, small world.https://www.heraldonline.com/sports/high-school/prep-football/article253601848.html
Jesus, it's the headline of the HS Football news page
I saw one yesterday for the first time. About 6 feet from me. No joke one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! Amazing little creatures!
Sitting on the upper deck of our lake house. Had the dogs out there so everyone could sleep.
I was dosing, opened my eyes and a hummingbird is hovering less than a foot from my face. Almost swatted it before I realized what it was. Hovered for about 15-20 seconds facing me. Then just flew off.
The Lord filled this world with so many wonderful things. I wish that mankind were better caretakers…

Haven't been around since May but just wanted to say Go Vols. Recently moved from TN to CO but I'm hyped for this season. Rather lose to Bama 66-60 than 66-3 like with Pruitt.
Where in CO - I am in Castle Rock, south of Denver.
“Many Irish-Americans are not offended, but many are,” Kellerman said in a Wall Street Journal article. “Should that also change? The answer is yes. Unequivocally yes. Pernicious, negative stereotypes of marginalized people that offend, even some among them, should be changed.”
So now being Irish makes you part of an oppressed group? That would be news to a lot of people in the halls of academia and media outlets.
Stop blaming UT for something they didn’t cause.. you have these two to blame drag their names not the university (Pruitt and Fulmer)
I have had two rufus hummingbirds square up with me this last week. One sitting by my front door with the door open reading when that menacing buzz came in the door and started for my head. Gave me quite a start. Then another cased me on the trail down by the wetlands Sunday evening. Not as menacing but made several approaches to within a foot or so. This right before I got a quick glimpse of two coyote pups frolicking in the reeds right by the shore of the small beaver pond.Sitting on the upper deck of our lake house.
