True but they’re are lots of college “TE” his size that aren’t blockers. They have other guys for that. Pitts is 6’6 238 and Beckwith is 6’5 227. I don’t recall Pitts being known for his blocking but they found a way you use him in the passing game. Not saying he is as good as Pitts but he could be used to get mismatches in the passing game.

I get the feeling this staff asks their TE’s to block some. Today, Golesh said Julian Nixon is doing well, but he’s never blocked anyone in his life. He also said that he’s never played a true freshman TE in all of his years of coaching and had very good ones, maybe even an award winner. He said Miles Campbell should play this year.

This stuff seems much more competent than what we had, so I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. I think Dee could be very good in some spots at RB.

I think blocking is mostly effort...these dudes that can't, or I should say..will not..block aggravate me...they are just soft and lazy.

Highly rated guy….. always banged up a little bit…. Seems content with his position on the team….. just a feeling I get from him.
Ranked coming out of HS as an ILB. Just seems like he would have seen the opportunity there with Toot and Crouch both leaving, and realized his position on the depth chart at RB, and asked to make the switch. Certainly makes one wonder about his desire to see the field. But that's JMO.
