Loved hearing Golesh talk about receiving input from Kodi Burns (having SEC experience) and Jerry Mack (former OC). Maybe it's coach speak, but Golesh was almost gushing at the RB's and OL.

He also said that we were close to being two deep in the OL depth which is really encouraging. Our RB I believe are going to be studs this year.

In 2019 at UCF when Heupel had a QB competition before the season, he announced Brandon Wimbush 1 week before their first game (a Thursday game), but also noted Dillon Gabriel would get an opportunity in the first game." Be interested to see how he phrases his announcement.

Also to give everyone more reason to believe in our offense. On that 2019 UCF team, Dillon Gabriel was 3rd(maybe 4th) string headed into summer behind Darriel Mack broke his ankle, then Brandon Wimbush started the season opener and then Dillon Gabriel started the 2nd game after Wimbush had an undisclosed injury that forced him out for the 2nd game of the year.

All that to say, Heupel will get good QB play out of this team whoever it ends up being (it's gonna be Milton)

Has there been any talk about Caleb Tremblay in fall camp? I would assume we accepted him in as a transfer because the coaches thought he could help, but I haven't heard his name mentioned.

Not that it means much, but I listened to the Kyler Kerbyson podcast and they noted he just looked small. He'll probably get reps, but I wouldn't expect a ton

We had no DL coach last year. Now we have Rodney Garner. And people think there won't be a difference.

This is the big wild card here. RG automatically improves your DL, but how much so? Our pass rush was so bad this year, if we could even be average at that, I'd be thrilled. You gotta think we will be with adding Byron, Garner, and playing a more attacking style on the D-Line

Siap I've felt the same way (haven't heard much about him), but some have suggested he may even start. Even if he doesn't, it sounds like he'll play quite a bit regardless. He must be doing well...just quietly. Nothin wrong with that!

Seeing Pruitt running through the T in that video makes me want to throw up. Remember what he said about running though it the first time? Something like “it was different”. How did we ever hire that gump?
That pisses me off. Screw Pruitt and the single-toothed hussy he rode in on.
