I think it’s stupid that people are offended by “mascots and names” anyways

If you don’t like it don’t support them lol or pick a team that is their rival and hope they get destroyed on the playing field….

But this world has become way too sensitive. Lol.

Btw I wonder how many Irish people stated that the Leprechaun (Fighting Irish) was a bad logo. I bet it was close to 0 of those people being Irish.
If I didn't like a certain race/group of people, I certainly would not name a team after them. If someone chose to name a team after me I would consider that an honor, not a put down. Maybe that just me though.

So, say Milton has an ineffective 1st quarter, like im talking about offense fails to generate points/turnovers/etc do we switch to another guy or keep Milton in?
I hope he does not fail. His followers will turn on him in a heartbeat. If he is the starter then I want him to light it up

Unless he doesn't know how to use his phone, it takes about five seconds to start that process.

Knowing who we are talking about, of course he doesn't know how to use his phone.
Minus 100 karma points for making fun of the elderly.

Not citing this to prove a point, just looking it up out of curiosity.

Heupel-led offenses vs opponents on this year's schedule:

2016 vs UGA - L 27-28
2016 at UF - L 14-40
2016 vs UK - L 21-35
2016 at SCar - L 21-31
2016 vs VU - W 26-17
2016 at UT - L 37-63

2017 vs SCar - L 13-31
2017 at UK - L 34-40
2017 at UGA - L 28-53
2017 vs UF - W 45-16
2017 vs UT - W 50-17
2017 at VU - W 45-17

worth noting - when they hit their stride in 2017, his offense put up 68, 52, 45, 50, 45, 48 and went 6-0 (4-0 SEC)

2018 vs Pitt - W 45-14
2019 at Pitt - L 34-35
Also worth noting that Heupel’s offense averaged about 6.3 yards per play vs Georgia with the 13th most talented roster in the Conference in 2016 and improved it to 6.4 Yards per play in 2017… Georgia just played keep away on their offensive side 2017 game which led to only 49 plays ran by Missouri. Nevertheless 6.4 Yards per play on offense is fantastic vs that kind of Talent Discrepancy

The whole stairs thing is stupid. I feel like Heuple was saying, "the way the team is attending meetings and paying attention" vs. "they way the team walks up the stairs." SMH.
He was talking about bringing a good attitude into the meeting. That's it. People are ridiculous and love to pile on

Is Joe Milton generating SUPER significant buzz behind closed doors?

My working theory is that new players who generate SUPER significant preseason buzz actually do play up to the hype (e.g., Cam Newton at Auburn 2010; Cordarelle Patterson 2012; Derek Barnett 2014; etc.). Can't quite gauge the hype-level on Milton. It does seem big - just not sure how big?

He said he is not sure….. they do seem to like him a lot….. he also said that the team feels confident that they will be good

Lol. The players seem to be having fun and think they will shock some people. Plus our schedule is pretty weak for our standards. I honestly would predict 7-5 today.
You and I sniffed out Pruitt’s BS pretty early, so I respect your opinion on this stuff.

7-5 would be almost unprecedented here for a first year coach. Kiffin and Fulmer are the exceptions but they were handed very good rosters.

I just don’t see it this year. I don’t see the talent everyone else does. Doesn’t mean I’m right.
