I have noticed that when Golf is on NBC it seems I see less gold and a lot more commercials. Recorded and watching yesterdays BMW tourney and I am constantly fast forwarding the commercials. CBS doesn't seem to be that way. I know they both do the play through commercials and even they seem to have gotten longer but NBC seems to double the commercials that CBS does. jmo

I record almost every sporting event so I can watch and fast forward. I hate commercials.

Surprised to see Seymour leading Cherokee 23-7 @ half. After going 0-10 last year, they could start 2-0. Watch out Greeneville! . .

Greeneville leads Grainger Co 70-0 in the 3rd. . .

I am in the process of building one of these and hope to have it completed by Wed night . This is is not mine but mine has a Tennessee look to it.

I’m late here but depends on how much you want to “set it and forget it”. Pellet grills don’t require fire/smoke management so that means much more user friendly and little to no learning curve. Kamado Joe, Big Green Egg, etc require a learning curve but as a KJ owner I can say it’s not too bad. It’ll take a little bit to learn to dial in the temps and figure out how long it takes to get a steady temp but once you get it down, it’s pretty user friendly as well. I can dial in a long cook and it’ll barely fluctuate 10 or so degrees over the cook.

Honestly, it just depends on what you want but you can’t go wrong with either type of set up.

Predicting 6-6 says that there is no improvement over last year's team. In a normal year, last year's team would have at least went 6-6. There would have been 3 cupcakes and we won 3 SEC games. We did that with JG at QB and Pruitt running his high school offense.

So what you're saying is, that we lost JG and Pruitt, addition by subtraction, that we upgraded the QB room simply by having someone, anyone else at the position, and that we upgraded the coaching staff at HC, OC, QB, TE, OL, DL, and LB, and yet we will see no improvement?

There is no one, not even the mods, who predict that our offense won't be better. In fact, we all expect not only improvement, but a major jump on the offense. But we won't be better? We won't be improved? Even with improved offense and upgrades at nearly every coaching position? That's to say nothing for team chemistry.

I don't see it. We're not going to compete for the east, but we will be significantly better than last year's team.
