I wonder what attendance is going to look like. Thursday nighters make it tough for the working folks.

If I remember correctly, the Appalachian State game on Thursday night a few years ago had a pretty good crowd.

Not so great in my memory, especially for the hype that team had. Cleared out at halftime also. I went but it didn't have a good gameday feel at all.

Thursday night shouldn't effect it much. It's a night game, so there is a couple hours available for people to drive in after work. It's also a holiday weekend. A lot of people are taking a Friday vacation day and having a long weekend.

Kamar Wilcoxson might miss Florida’s season. Definitely out vs us.

Add that to the jaydon hill injury. Don’t know Florida’s depth in the secondary but Heupel and crew might feast that game.

Georgia's secondary is looking scary right now too. We lost 8 scholarship DB's after last season, including all but one starter. Now we have a couple of the potential starting replacements who are banged up and going to miss time. Hopefully the unit will be healthy and somewhat experienced by the time we face Tennessee, but at minimum the early part of the season will be rough.

I went to the app state game, it was around 90% if I remember correctly. Definitely didn't feel empty.

What?! It did not clear out at halftime. It wasn't a sell out, but it was no different than a Saturday cupcake game, probably better than that.

Now I am curious about their depth.

I remember the crowd being pretty solid. Agree the game day atmosphere wasn’t there at all. We had a group take off Thursday and Friday to go tailgate and campus was absolutely dead until an hour or so before kickoff.

Maybe not halftime in fairness, you're probably right. I remembered it being empty as I was leaving so I assumed halftime but now I recall the game went to OT. Us winning did not feel very exciting, it was more of a collective groan of "finally" and "are you kidding me".

"Appy St is a solid team" followed the next week

Let me be the first to say, I hope they are not ready by the time you face Tennessee.

That's probably accurate. I think I just misremembered it bc it was dead as I was leaving so I assumed halftime but I forgot that the game went to OT.

Around 98k I think ended up being the attendance for the Appy State game. I'm guessing about 75k show up Thursday night.

I watched. It was super lame. I’m not a boxing expert but I’m pretty sure it was on the very low end of number of punches thrown and landed by both parties. It was like watching two guys get their cardio in for the day.

I’ve seen people say that Jake Paul is a legit boxer but in my opinion if he fought an actual legit boxer his size and weight he’d get his ass beat.

He’ll stick to MMA guys with wrestling backgrounds… easy money. I can’t blame him

100,074, but we were also coming off a 9-4 season with Dobbs, Hurd, Malone, etc. still on the team.
