Ha! I wouldn't expect otherwise. But in the interim you might enjoy tuning in for the Clemson game Saturday. If DJ Uag(something) lives up to the hype our secondary could get wrecked.
I'm honestly really curious to watch that game. If Ga wins that this could legitimately be your year. If not, I'm wondering how the fans are going to feel about Kirby. If you guys were to lose that convincingly, you think some heat gets turned up on him?

I wonder what attendance is going to look like. Thursday nighters make it tough for the working folks.

If I remember correctly, the Appalachian State game on Thursday night a few years ago had a pretty good crowd.
Being a top 10 ranked team and the hype after 2015 helped. We're sort of in the near opposite position now. Some fans just aren't up for another rebuild at the moment. Hopefully Hype shows them what they missed out on. Fun and a lot of points.

You have done well to break it down to the communication problem and lack of clarity on expectations. Also, that’s the best approach to discuss it with him one-on-one. It will make for a better work environment moving forward for both of you.
Totally agree

But bring your blade into the meeting and start trimming your fingernails with it so he knows you can get ticklish if things go south

Hype makes it sound like everything on the defensive side of the ball is in good shape.
I wonder if he really believes that or is just speaking positively?

Honestly, I like our starting 22. Depth is the issue with this team, especially at certain positions.

I think it’s better than some realize as long as we stay healthy but I think Heupel is also a more positive coach than previous ones we’ve had.
I’m excited to find out how good they can be. Can we be healthy and good enough to give Florida trouble?

I do not believe it is apples to apples. We had much higher expectations for the season that followed the Appy State game and there was no Covid. Both of these will factor in.

I'm sure there will be plenty of message board griping, especially if we lose by more than a few points. It won't mean he's on the hot seat IMO, but the true fanatics will do their normal thing.
