Dug into more stats and based on talent disparity, I think this game looks like Missouri vs Eastern Michigan in 2016 or Missouri vs Idaho in 2017.

My updated prediction is now in the 60ish to 20ish final score range.

I'll go 63-21.

Milton 375+ yards
5 TDs

Evans - 21 carries 175 yards 2 TDs
Small - 16 carries 130 yards 1 TD

Hyatt - 4 catches 115 yards 1 TD
Velus - 6 catches 95 yards 1 TD
Tillman - 4 catches 70 yards 2 TDs
Same. Just no injuries

Lol what a dipshiz. Just mad Trey is killing it and his handpicked 5* (only by him) is just showing his incompetence again. HB was very good out of hs, but wasn't a 5* by anyone but himself and now he needs time to develop in college and Spoons Farrell can't wrap his head around the idea that he went rogue and contrarian and was wrong (again) about Trey.

Would truly be a shame if someone investigated his online chats.

There are a ton of similarities between this game and that 2016 Missouri vs Eastern Michigan game.

SEC vs MAC team.

The year before in 2015, Eastern Michigan gave up 315 rushing yards per game.
Last year, Bowling Green gave up 310 rushing yards per game.

Eastern Michigan gave up 42 PPG the year before they played.
Bowling Green gave up 45 PPG last year.

The major difference to me, is Drew Lock had never thrown for more than 244 yards in a game prior to Heupel's offense.

Joe Milton has two games with more than 300 yards passing under his belt already.

I don’t think it's out of the question for the Vols to win all of the OOC games, beat KY, Vandy, SC, Missouri, and OM, then lose to AL, GA, and FL. Is it likely? No. Is there a chance? Sure. Obviously, we'd have to have a lot.of things go our way but we're due.
Oh, it’s going our way and there is not a damn things that the Knoxville media or negaVols can do about it.

15-0 🤠

Was on the Michigan 247 board to read more about Milton and found this gem

“As a BG grad let me warn everyone right now…BGs defense is a hot pile of poo and has more holes than Swiss cheese (entire team is for that matter but that’s another topic / another day)

Joe Milton will look like a Heisman candidate and will throw for 300 yards.

Take this game with a grain of salt.”

Never heard of this "grain of salt" expression. Is it similar to a "grade of slaw"?

Can we just call him Spoons from now on?

I hope we score so much and so fast that the scoreboard can’t keep up.
This I’m all about getting other QBs experience but honestly Milton needs as much time behind center as any of them. He is the only one who didn’t have a Spring so, you let him play until the 3rd quarter let him get as many throws in as we can and then you play a different QB.

I just don't think I've ever heard a coach say something like that before. Was Illinois really running some defense so exotic that he never could have anticipated and was perfectly tailored to take away half of the plays Nebraska was planning to run? Didn't look all that crazy to me, but I'm not a big X's and O's guy.

Which is more likely, that the Illini DC is a devious genius? That he just got incredibly lucky? Or that Scott Frost is a coach with a worse record after three years than Derek Dooley, Jeremy Pruitt or Charlie Strong at Texas, and just isn't very good?
My guess is that they threw in a few wrinkles relative to what they saw last year on film, and Frost is playing it up because he has no answers.
