I don't know why you're taking this so personally. I even said Hurd had good games here but the all time record is misleading.

Just rewatched the first drive from UCF's game with Cincinnati last year. Possession 1 started with slant, WR screen, mesh, deep out, and then a go route that should have been a TD but a bad throw. Ran the same go route again the next play and hit it.

That's basically what I'm expecting tomorrow night.

That's whats stuck out so much to me when watching these games. Gabriel's not very gifted and still put up video game numbers.

Wow...my wife was just leaving to go to work and a huge bear was dragging garbage out of our dumpster so I went out and ran it off...we have known it was doing this occasionally for several months, and we have seen his tracks in the mud where we had a new septic system put in a few months ago after a rain, but this is the first time we caught him doing it. It is one of the biggest black bears I have ever seen

I'm not talking about this thread alone. I mean if you go back to 2105 people on this forum were trying to dub him the best rb in UT history after 2 seasons because of his yardage total. That was largely due to him just getting more carries than anyone else. Not because he did amazing things when carrying the football.

Oh I remember those who freaked out after the UGA game when he was ruled out. Met up with @UT_Dutchman in College Station and both of us were excited over what Kamara and Kelly would bring…but it wasn’t the MAJORITY opinion.

IMO there are so many mock drafts out every year by various internet personalities you can find a lot of players "projected" in the first round. The reality is there have been 15 RB's taken in the first round in the last 10 drafts, and very few of them were players with Hurd's skill set (Fournette, Gurley), and both of those were vastly better at doing those things than he was. Did Hurd ever have a run over 50 yards?

Not sure, but it was a pretty big publication, I can't find the article, but the fact is people were high on him at RB, if you had looked at the post I was replying to you would see that

I don't know about the runs over 50 yds, but had he stayed at UT he would be UT's all-time leading rusher and people and analysts were much higher on him than you apparently were....

He didn't lack for physical skill or talent, he just lacked the right mindset and the Circus Clown Lyle and staff didn't help with that either, but it's certainly funny that you think big bruising running backs were left in the 80's, I mean my gosh the best RB in Pro football is exactly that type of RB

The gray they gave us should've been charcoal gray to begin with. Charcoal gray was around on gear when Fulmer was still coach (off field but still). They still could've called it whatever they wanted.
