I guess I have lived too long and gotten so cynical about the intent with the SEC. The Curles crew has gotten under my skin for a long time and not just our games. I have never understood using the other conference's officials when playing OOC. Get a crew from an unrelated conference.

Short story. A friend of mine from 35-40 years ago became a high school official in his 20's and later moved up to being the referee of a crew in the old Big 8. I asked him about the funny business. He was a straight arrow and said most of his colleagues were as well. But he admitted there were a handful of bad actors scattered throughout the conference that had to be weeded out from time to time. I doubt it has changed all that much in terms of character. The game has become more complicated to call. But when they make no pretense of calling it fair...

I hate NB….. I always told my wife that NB was shoes that were made for women by women….. my wife talked me into getting a pair and they hurt my feet…. I complained all the time…. Finally…. She got me a pair of nikes…. That’s all I will wear.

If you think who we brought in was normal then you don’t watch the Braves. Lee literally pitched two games all year. Our best bullpen pitchers have had two days off now. Braves could only have asked to win one in LA and doing it early made last night easier to unload some pitchers and save some for a potential game six. We are exactly where we want and could have hoped to be.

I just said their bats are waking up. Of course you don't throw your best arms when you are down four and up three games to one. I hope the Braves win. Just saying the Dodgers are not done yet.

No scherzer now….. Beuhler on short rest….. the Dodgers are on life support.
