I would rather eat a microwaved meal in the crows nest of the titanic than eat at Applebee's.

I would rather eat on the asteroid in Armageddon than eat at Applebee's.

I would rather watch Star Wars episode one, than eat at an Applebee's
I should have put the first part of that post in blue font, rookie mistake after being here almost four years. I thought you got it, but you must be still suffering from the food poisoning 😒.

I got it. Just wanted to provide hilarious things I'd rather do. I don't rob VN of my content just because of sarcasm. I'm a man of the people. Trying to keep it fresh.. ya smell me?

Kentucky is beatable if Cade plays and Tiyon is truly healthy. I don't understand the.."we are rolling Kensucky"..."we are gonna blow them out"..."we have to win this game"..posts.
I think UK is a good team. It's just some of the things they've shown make me think we are a bad matchup for them.

SIAP 'I'm a True PG': Kennedy Chandler is Ready Make His Mark at Tennessee | SLAM
Next up is the University of Tennessee—a place that already felt right to him before he even got a scholarship offer or went on an official visit. Chandler tells the story of when he visited campus as a high school freshman for the first time. There was a football game against Alabama. “They got killed,” he says of Tennessee before he burst out laughing. But the unofficial visit made a lasting impression on him regardless.

“When you go to a college, you want to see that it feels like home,” he adds. “And Tennessee felt like home on an unofficial visit. I had not [even] taken an official visit and I [already] felt comfortable with the coaches, compared to the other coaches I had visited.”

He isn’t shying away from stating exactly what he’s chasing after this upcoming season. Chandler has a list he’s hoping to check off one by one beginning this fall and going straight through the winter and next spring.

“At Tennessee, I want to come in and show them why I was the number one point guard in the nation—who’s coming into their program and why he should be here,” says Chandler. “I want to win a national championship at Tennessee. I set goals, and my goal is I want to make them come true, and my [ultimate] goal is to go to the NBA.”

You're absolutely right brother... but we are going to roll Kentucky. I'm just sayin'

Even with a patchwork O-Line, we only had 1 turnover against Alabama and scored 24pts.

Here's how Alabama and Kentucky's defenses compare in SEC rank (Bama / UK):
Interceptions - (T-1st / 14th)
Fumbles Rec - (T-10th / 13th)
Sacks - (5th / 12th)
Tackles - (T-5th / 12th)
Tot Yds/Game - (2nd / 3rd)
Pass Yds/Game - (9th / T-6th)
Rush Yds/Game - (2nd / 4th)
Points - (5th / 3rd)

What that says to me is that Kentucky's defense isn't super disruptive and doesn't get in the backfield often. But they are disciplined and probably don't allow many yards after contact or catch.

I would expect to score at least 20 offensive points on them. The difference is that their offense is one of the worst in the SEC. UK offense ranks 11th in scoring, 7th in rushing, 13th in passing. Their clear and obvious strength is rushing, which happens to be the strength of our defense (8th - bulk of the damage done to us is mobile quarterbacks and IDK if Levis fits that bill) along with making stops in the backfield.

On paper, and based on how the group performed most recently, I'm not super concerned with our offense's ability to score on Kentucky. And I like our D-Line's matchup with their running backs. I think that'll be the dogfight to watch in this game that will decide who wins. Not Cade.

But I'm with you on everything else. Heupel shouldn't be expected to win this game on the road, but it's the best upset chance of the season (even better than the chances against Ole Miss imo).
Cades backups are almost singlehandedly causing the offense to stall the last two games...but we will score 24+..I hope..somehow Heupel is able to squeeze at least that much no matter what, unless we have a bad TO game.

Levis is a wildcard, he is erratic, but he is capable of a good game. We have to figure out a way to finally stop this stupid QB running wild on third down 🦬💩...will we, can we with the same guys out there who haven't even come close to stopping it yet?

Beating UK this year, with this roster, at this point..is going to be a big chore.

I hope Heupel doesn't lose a lot of fans because their expectations about this game are out of whack with reality.

And here's what I do know about Saturday Nov. 6th.

These Vols aren't going to roll in unprepared. They'll be flying all over the field. If we lose it won't be because they didn't play hard enough or we didn't scheme properly. It'll be because we get outlasted in the second half and Kentucky dominates possession with long drives.
This...I agree with

Being optimistic is a good thing, but I agree with you. I think we’ve got to have certain pieces in place to pull out the W

Good Lord man, I said I should have used blue font. Now you want me to smell you??? What did I ever do to you? Have I not suffered enough being a Vol fan for 49 years? Check in with Weez, he’d love the invite.

I'm optimistic to a degree, I think the future looks brighter than I thought it would at this point. I know we are winning six, and that is much better than I thought we would do preseason with the inevitable injuries along the OL that were to come, and now have come.

If we were full strength, I do think we would roll UK, but we are not.

Yep, we all know what style of ball they play. If our offense cannot get into a rhythm and they dominate the time of possession, it could go either way. 🤷‍♂️

Lot of y’all wanted to hire Tony Elliot. A couple of you said he’d be a better coach than Heupel…

@HankHill when Heup was hired: “CHOSE. CHOSE. HIM OVER ELLIOT.” 😂

in April: “I would still take Tony Elliot over Heupel lol. You think gee golly bumb dabo is running that offense? Lol”
