It’s wild, my wife and I got her 4Runner last year. We could sell it now for more than we paid for it

A buddy was thinking of selling his 2016 Tacoma Limited with 40K mileage and talked to the dealer. The dealer offered more than he paid for it.

Crazy times we live in.

We thought our last 2 coaches would at least fix the roster. Well turns out one didn’t require S&C and screwed the roster that way and the other was blatantly cheating and caused a mass exodus. In the age of the transfer portal I think it’s dumb as hell to expect a coach to leave a stocked team behind him. If the coach sucks you fire him. Simple as that. We fired Dooley at The right time. We gave Butch one year too many. We fired Pruitt t the right time. If Heupel train wrecks in a similar fashion as either Butch or Pruitt then he’ll be gone too and deservedly so. You don’t keep incompetent people around. They will just dig a deeper hole.

I had no plans to get a new truck this year because I had a 2019 Nissan Titan Pro-4x that was fully loaded and only 7k miles on it, but I saw folks online talking about crazy offers on used vehicles and got curious. Got an offer from Carvana that was a little over $3k more than I paid for the truck new. Checked with Carmax and got an offer for $4500 over what I paid. Sold. Bought the new Titan about a week before they cut rebates in half and a month before the inventory issues with the Titan. Same truck would cost me at least $6k more if I bought it now.

The only way you can get more parity in the game is to increase the number of teams in a playoff. Because as long as only 4 teams can go then all of the best players will continue to go to the top 4-6 schools so they have a chance to go. It may take a while until it goes back to the way it was before the playoffs though.

I need a new truck because mine got struck by lightning 2 months ago. Insurance gave me 3k more than I paid for it 3 years ago. Problem is that now I can’t find anything that isn’t crazy. Lucky for me that my dad has a 2005 f-250 that he doesn’t use anymore so I am driving that until I can find something that isn’t 10k over MSRP.
