For everyone assuming Hooker is automatically returning next year, Mel Kiper has him as the number 8 overall QB in his updated draft list in what is considered a very weak QB draft.

If he continues to progress and closes the year out strong, it’s not unreasonable for him to make the jump as a mid round selection.

We really need Milton to stick around and improve.

Noticeably absent in the draft rankings was Cade Mays. He is not listed in the top 10 at Guard or Tackle in the projections.

Wasting breath...I've already laid out why Hooker could leave to be drafted to these morans.

Personally hope he stays, cause I think Hooker returning next season could legit establish himself as a Heisman candidate.

Nope, not buying that. He's had 4 years to do that. Take a shot on another transfer.

Honestly I don't see any value in the 25 class limit.

If you're capped at 85...then it's not like Bama/Georgia can just sign 35 or 40 kids every season. And even if they do they have to do so because of attrition to the 85, which would mean bodies in the transfer portal so even a school like say Memphis who can't get top level guys to push the 25 could take in some transfers leaving the bigger P5 schools.

And if everyone is limited by the total 85 cap then I feel like it'd work itself out. I don't get how it "helps" exactly.

I'd guess their biggest concern is Bama and Georgia sign 40 kids then cut 15 every year. If they tried that it wouldn't play well in recruiting though so they might not do that even if they could. With transfers becoming more common that's probably less of an issue now too.

There's also the Johnny Majors method of signing a huge class and then having a great team when they're all seniors.

Given how much the rule hamstrings new coaches though, I'd say it's doing more harm to the competitive landscape than good.

I love the Beaufort area. We have friends on St. Helena Island. Been there a couple of times and stayed for free. Really awesome place.
@greenheronadventures

Ive fished all over Mosquito, Sebastian, and West Coast of FL, HHI, IoP, Folly. Capt Rob put me on this Bull 30" on a fly. He hit that fly as soon as it hit the water. Great guy, great time.

Lifted him up for a pic, then jumped out. (Cant get the video to upload).
