Analytics has completely optimized sports. IMO kind of ruined them. But it is what it is
Jmo....made football offenses and basketball a lot more fun. More scoring and exciting.

Baseball, I'm less sure. HRs are undeniably fun...if you watched the Basevols last year you'd be forced to agree...but as someone growing up playing a lot of baseball, can't say I don't miss the small ball and bigger in-game coaching effect.

All I know is Rickey Henderson would have no place in the league today.

Milton sucks and isn’t figuring anything out. If Hendo leaves after this year, we are screwed unless we get a grad transfer or Jackson is ready day one.

Lol I mean you can say a QB won’t figure it out but sometimes they do, just like Hooker did. Hooker is literally a prime example of a QB finally getting it.

Yup and that's sad...but I guess the same could be said for a lot of slow big men in basketball or fullbacks (which I don't mind being gone). Then again, there wouldn't be big men that can drop 3s and dribble like a PG...and so many running QBs...RPOs...swiss knife RBs like AK...

There's definitely good and bad. Guess it comes down to preferences and aesthetics.

Hell yes, I've said it before and will repeat it here. We lucked into what may likely have been the best possible scenario with Huepel.

He's changed the culture, now he needs the next couple of years to build the roster. We could do special things in the next 3 to 5 years.

I doubted this hire would succeed, but if he can recruit he'd be as good as any coach in the country IMO.

Hendon staying creates big problems in our QB room IMO. You aren’t getting a viable transfer if he stays and if he stays you are probably losing Milton… so…
All seems like a moot point when the upside is...you still have Hooker who is going to be a preseason heisman contender. 110% want...need...him back

There’s a difference between “being afraid” and a transfer QB going somewhere they know they have a chance to start.
I think Hooker is beatable, if we're being honest. Yes, he's currently our best QB and is doing a good job. But I don't think he's guaranteed the spot next year if someone else can do better. I think Heupel will go with who he thinks is the best QB.

Ok then go get Luther. That way you have Hooker, Jackson and Luther next year. If you aren’t confident going into year 3 with either of those guys then take a transfer, one that can start for a season.

The solution isn't a second HS QB if the problem is having an experienced back up if your starter gets hurt.

Aside from off the books cheating, how can they possibly be finding a way to blow 30+% more than anyone else?
Kirby dumb*** accidentally included the actual payments. I don't see any other way. There's only so much you can spend traveling...
