Why would I want to bet on or against Bailey? He is not a Vol….. I don’t really care what he does anymore….. I also don’t want Joe Milton to be our starting QB bc I have no faith in him and I absolutely hate his last play against Ole Miss….I’m sorry it doesn’t fit your narrative…. He was given a fair shot here…. He just wasn’t good enough….. That doesn’t mean he can’t become good in the future.
I guess he was supposed to sit the bench for four years? It is the right choice to leave. Wish he would have waited til the season ended, but JH was honest with him and he decided to go ahead and leave.

Yep, not planned lol, but no ragrets.

Wife also had a big time interview yesterday that we are really hoping and praying she gets. I'm on a measily PhD research stipend and she's doing hourly fieldwork for now, so that would be a blessing lol

My 1st was half like that. As in I didn't plan it but my wife did, 😂.
She knew I wanted kids but would worry myself to death about "if we were ready". Said I never would've felt prepared enough. She was absolutely right and it handled it perfectly.

I remember somewhere in the excitement I asked if the birth control didn't work?
Her: It worked great.. until I stopped, haha.

I wish he had of waited till the end of the year but I don’t blame him for wanting to go somewhere he thinks he might be able to start….If he wants to be successful…. He doesn’t need to believe that he wasn’t given a fair shot…. He needs to understand what he struggles at and work to fix it…. He has to process info faster and work on his longer throws….. sideline and deep.

He might go to Western KY with Helton

With their new system this would be a good move to light up group of 5 but I think he feels as if he should be on a bigger stage. I’m sure Auburn, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ga Tech types have been snooping around him. Ga tech has Sims but I could see them pushing Bailey for recruiting area purposes. He liked some Auburn stuff few weeks back which made me think you got Friend over there and Bobo who know Bailey well. He also kind of fits that Boise st Qb type mold.

The issue with Bailey is he isn’t flashy so he doesn’t wow people in practice and never wowed me
During a game as I thought Shrout was better in those games they split time in. He is solid but that slow release and heavy foot work is stuff he is going to have to fix to have success on big stage or get behind a stout OL. Big ten schools would make a lot of sense like Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn St.

Hendon staying creates big problems in our QB room IMO. You aren’t getting a viable transfer if he stays and if he stays you are probably losing Milton… so…
yeaaaa the guy i heard interviewed yesterday who wrote a faith based children's book, quoting scripture...doesnt seem like he'd be trouble in locker room.

The athletic pulse: (their bold, not mine)

Tennessee quarterback Harrison Bailey announced Wednesday he will be seeking reps elsewhere, as the former top QB recruit has not seen the playing time he expected in Knoxville. There is precedent here: Three of the last four No. 1 picks in the NFL Draft (Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow) all transferred in college and found success. It’s no guarantee, but keep an eye on where Bailey could land.

Please, no.

AP basically confirmed it with a Gif. Trey played with Aaron Hayden. Hmm
Yeah but one player doesn’t “shake” up recruiting. I’m excited if we get Dallan, but don’t say something like that unless we’re about to actually shake things up lol

Last time we shook things up, we got Jerrod Means

Honestly...if we manage to go 4-0 to end the season how could ya not have Heupel in SEC coach of the year debate?

This is where I am: 4-0.

I won't melt down regardless of the outcome, given the ridiculously thin roster and how well Heupel has done instilling his culture and keeping these guys competitive through 8 games. But I have a feeling we're about to explode out of the off week. And I don't trust that Georgia can go through a regular season undefeated - I have a sneaking suspicion they think Florida is their last great challenge of the year, and I think they're in for a rude awakening. Time will tell! Go Vols!
