Speaking of healing. What do we have to do to get you on the road to Knoxville to work your magic on the team?

Probably would have to wait until my daughter graduates next year. 😐

But the silver lining is that she wants to be on the dance team at Tennessee! I wonder if I could get her an NIL deal but only if she goes to Tennessee…🤠

Yes. Try being Japanese-American in Japan, for instance. You'll always be an outsider to them. Or African countries, like the Hutus and Tutsis...hardly a difference as countrymen - but the Belgians officially divided them into separate castes - with identification cards and all - and it was bought...all the way to going to war against one another.

Fwiw, I believe it's mostly just a schema thing. Yes, unfortunately it can be used for divisiveness, but at face-value categories are simply pragmatic, though maybe unnecessary in all cases.

All the more reason to reject tribalist thought - if anyone ever speaks of "us vs them" or demonizing "them" - red lights should be going off imo...except for sports/entertainment where it's of course a part of "the game".
From now on, I prefer to be known as Appalachian American. If you must go broader, then Tennessean American. "White" or "Caucasian" are unacceptable. Respect my heritage!

I've used Doordash probably 10 times and I swear 6 of them at least the food showed up absolutely reeking of weed. Is that a job requirement or something.

its October. AP says there is a lot of excitement with recruits about the offense, and, coaching staff. This is first week they've been out on road in a while. I would expect a commitment or two.

Is says all things considered, negative recruiting, Plowman's investigation. That a top 25 finish will be exceptional.

Amen!! It drives me nuts having to deal with your side either with a family member or myself, because I know what should be happening and it’s not. I had a human doctor point-blank tell me in the emergency room one day that the standard of care for veterinarians is way above that of medical doctors. Pretty eye-opening statement. I don’t think that is necessarily because we are better at what we do, but we do not have the limitations placed on us as you guys do with insurance companies.

ER is different. I have learned to beat the insurance companies at their own game for the most part. They have to publish their treatment criteria. Therefore, I always make sure that the criteria is not only met, but documented in the note. Cuts denials way down. Opens them up to consequences if they deny in that scenario.

I love asking the mercenary peer review doctor if he can’t read or doesn’t know his employer’s criteria for the procedure I am requesting. There’s usually just silence, then a quick it’s approved before they hang up. I am infinitely annoyed that I have to justify appropriate medical care, but I take pleasure in getting approval regardless…
