Sorry to everyone for hijacking the thread. Reading fantasy is a huge passion and it's pleasantry surprising how many others in here are into it.

Last point, everyone who has responded about fantasy should read the FitzChivalry Farseer books by Robin Hobb. Follow a royal bastard over 60 years of his life. He can use hereditary abilities that are a type of mental magic along with the ability to sense/communicate with animals, specifically dogs/wolves. He is also a trained assassin as a child and becomes a warrior as he gets into his teens.

On top of all that he is the Catalyst for his age and his closest friend is The Whit Prophet. Together it is their destiny to change the course of time to keep the world from becoming apocalyptic. Beautiful story with characters you grow to love and respect and Fitz is a total badass though he gets hurt a lot physically and emotionally....easily one of the most compelling characters ever.
Start with Assasins Apprentice.

So I suspect Smyly / Ynoa will be asked to get the Braves to the 6th and let the big guns take it. I also think Dusty will shake up his lineup. Gonna be fun to watch!! Chop on!!

I was just teasing. I think it's cool to see that passion. I want to find something to get me off my phone. Heard WOT alot here so took the plunge.

I don't agree but respect your take. Raboniel is very interesting. I liked Eshonai too before she seemed to be killed off.

The Dawnshard Novella is interesting how it introduces the Sleepless who are trying to keep humans from discovering the power that essentially destroyed their home planet before they came over to Roshar and eventually defeated and enslaved the native Parshendi
I did like dawnshard,
Thank you to everyone mentioning series I've never read and reminding me about series I forgot about. Gonna start Malazan abdvthe Recluse series.
Don't start malazan unless you're committed to reading the first 3. Don't judge it until then. The first one is especially brutal. Third one is one of my favorite books ever.

I figured you were. Funny enough, I read almost all my books online. Onlinefreereadnovel is a great site to read books free. I would spend a fortune if I bought every book I read.

I grew up with a single mom who was schizophrenic and wouldn't let me watch TV so reading was an escape when I wasn't outside, playing organized sports or playing video games. I've also spent time in jail and it really helped me pass the time.

Won't get into details but I'll just say my months in jail were completely undeserved and was for something that has probably happened to a lot of people on here...I was unlucky enough to live in a corrupt county with a private jail and incentive to lock people up or get them in the system for BS. All the stuff I should have gotten time for when I was young and stupid never got me in trouble, lol.

Snit doing it again….Tucker Davidson. Fingers crossed for the first couple of innings.
Tucker thew well earlier this season before he was injured. He has more experience than Lee. Just need 3 from Tucker, 1 from Chavez and 1 or 2 from Smyly. You also stayed away from Minter yesterday so he could be able to go multiple innings as well.

With Audible.com, you can join for @ $13 per month. Gets you one credit. They have a bunch of free audiobooks included with membership.
Frequent 2 for 1 sales and $5 sales keep prices reasonable.
I have a 30-45 minute drive each way for work. Audiobooks keep me entertained.
Me too! There used to be an audio book channel on Sirius. That got me started. Finished over 100 books in the last three years and have another 20 or so in my library I haven't started. You are right, with the sales it winds up being a decent deal.

I give Mel Tucker credit for succeeding at Michigan State, but I still contend it's easier to succeed in other conferences than it is in the SEC. If we had hired Tucker, I'm in no way convinced he'd have found the same success here. It's just harder in the SEC.
I mean, it seems mostly relative. Michigan St, relative to the B1G, still isn't very good. That said, I do believe right NOW the SEC has the best coaches, so I'd tend to agree with you at this moment. I wouldn't have said that in many prior years, but the addition of Leach, Kiffin, and Heupel have put it over the top. Outside of Beamer, Lea, and the Mizzou coach - it is really top notch. Though I respect most of the B1G coaches (just on coaching ability, not as human beings).
