I totally disagree...it needs to be expanded so kids don't feel they have to pile up at four or five schools to have a legitimate shot at a title.

I would expand it, but in a different way. The problem you mentioned is a big problem with the current system, but it’s not the only one.

What has happened the last ten years has just been a weird convergence of factors, and I believe with all my heart...fixing games and stacking the deck to protect a few programs by the powers that be has been an issue...but I can sense parity growing everywhere.

The stacking of 2-3 programs has caused parity but it's a battle for 5 and beyond. Unfortunately the top 4 are always set

My brother and my cousin are eat up right now. Both love baseball and the Braves. They both pitched college ball, One at Lambuth the other at Memphis, they were high school pitching teammates with David Price at Blackman HS.

Cool story: I sat next to Tommy Lasorda along with my father at an away Blackman game when he was watching David Price. My dad played college ball but I learned more in that hour taking with Lasorda. He was a good dude, very gracious and loved/lived the game. I didn't even know who he was for the first 30 minutes until my father told me. Then I felt like an ass, but I got the impression he just liked talking and teaching the game.
