Interesting story from the latest Bleave in TN podcast. Kyler Kerbyson recounts a story of Jason Croom punching a teammate for walking on/disrespecting the T in the locker room. He doesn’t remember the kids name and I wonder if this was Daniel Helm who transferred to duke. Has anyone heard about this situation before? Also Jason Croom VFL!

Helm was the home schooled softy that couldn't handle Butch using vulgar language, right? I doubt it was him.

Your probably right. I thought I remembered it was around bullying but could be wrong. Another poster said it was Jocquez Bruce.

Isn’t it funny that the Braves won because of karma in regards to an all star game? Does that mean Houston lost because of karma? I’ve yet to see anyone post anything about Texas and their recent stance on social issues. Obviously if the Braves won because of karma then the Astros must have lost because of karma. Who knew karma only followed conservative ideology?

Personally I am a life long Braves fan going back to Dale Murphy. I’m pretty sure the Braves won because they scored more runs in 4 games. I will take a World Series win over an all star game every day of the week.

Helm was a good dude. My friends and I knew him. It wasn't about Butch's language it was about Butch being two-faced. He recognized early that he and his family bought the used car salesman gag and wanted out.

Man, I’d sh!t my pants if I was in a car going 156mph on city streets.

I enrolled my daughter in a driving course called accident avoidance workshop that is offered here in GA. It consists of a 3-4 hour classroom session, and then a 1/2 day driving course. They do it at several locations around Atlanta, including at AMS, which is where our course was held. The driving part was set up in the parking lot. But at the end of the day, the instructor told all the parents to get in the drivers seat and follow him. We snaked around the outside and finally went down a ramp going towards the exterior of the structure, through a tunnel and ended up on the infield/pit row area. We kept in single file and never got above 70-80, and did about 5 laps or so. Then he had us trade places with our student drivers and let them do several laps. In that situation, I think going faster might have helped..,it was completely unnatural being tilted at a 24-degree angle…it felt like we were going to roll down to the infield! Most terrified I’ve ever been behind the wheel of a car.
My scariest time was when I was in my 20’s and had my trans am going 125+ mph on the way to Lexington…. A semi came over on us and so my only option was going into the emergency lane…. Needless to say…. We slowed down after that.

My dad had the fortune one time to ride as a passenger in a race car while Caroll Shelby was driving. He said it is a scary thing when you realize how close the passenger side is to the wall while going so fast.
