People keep talking about forgiveness. What kind of forgiveness do you want? We know Jesus will forgive if Ruggs is sincere in his asking. Whether or not those who were robbed of their loved one forgive is entirely up to them. They might, they might not. They're entitled to their feelings. People speculating on if they would be able to forgive or not IF they were put in that position are entitled to their feelings as well. If Ruggs is truly sorry for what he has done, then the hardest forgiveness will be forgiving himself.
People say that forgiveness is healing and brings peace. I have never been in a situation to potentially forgive someone for something this awful. There are some amazing stories of redemption and forgiveness out there. I do agree it is totally up to the victim's family.

Someone shared an article a few days ago, the top money makers in the country, we were 10th. Question to anyone who remembers that article or knows: wasn't our total value over $700 million? And, that's across all sports, correct?

They already wave the wand over you right?
Yeah but those are way slower. With a walkthrough you can have the person toss their bag and metal items on the table, walkthrough, and boom done.

Also, hand wands are only as good as the person waving it. Where walkthroughs will pick up almost anything.

I'll be honest, Newt threw a gut punch on me with the post you're quoting. I can say the same as you, "I never once hurt an innocent person". But the list of stupidity in my youth that could've..
Extreme - Tried LCD. Been so many cases of bad **** leading to people's deaths and to murders.
Common - Excessive speeding. And a lot of cell phone activity while driving, *when they 1st became popular, etc..

Learned better from all and do none of the above, now.
But as much as I like to think myself a good person, the truth is, a bit of bad luck and I could be in the wrong category.

'Driving impaired' only, I believe many here can cast stones. Expand into all stupid decisions that have been known to get people killed, I'd bet there's a lot of glass houses, also.

So, Let he who is without sin cast the first stone?

Speaking of casting stones, how bout them Vols? Go Braves! Rah America! Stop the madness… anyone want to talk football? 🤠

He called it goofy for dragging someone who just killed an innocent person. It ain't goofy.
It probably was goofy bc it’s twitter and those people tend to go to extremes….. it’s like the football forum on crack….. he has an emotional connection to Ruggs and is defending his friend…Ruggs had some serious poor judgement and cost someone their life…. He needs to face those consequences from the awful/stupid decision he made….. I teach my kids all the time that life is nothing but a series of choices…. If you make the wrong one(even once) that you will have to face consequences that can effect the rest of your life….I made some poor choices when I was young and I feel very lucky that I didn’t kill myself or someone else bc of those choices.

Starting to think everyone from that HS team was video edited to look like stars (Kenton, Bailey, Gilbert)

Gilbert has the talent but off field mentally screws himself. Keyton could be a good solid WR and showed flashes as a freshman. Since then though he seems to not care as much about putting in the required work. Bailey was overrated in hindsight he should have been a low 4 star not a 5 star.

“He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”
So you don't condemn Ruggs' actions? You think causing the fiery death of a young woman through stupidity is okay? I'm not judging Ruggs' mortal soul, but I'm perfectly fine saying he did wrong and deserves to be punished.

It doesn't matter if he's calling Twitter goofy of media. It was a dumb comment on his part. Its best to stay out of the public about it because it doesn't and shouldn't end well.

Ruggs made a costly mistake and getting dragged for it on Twitter is probably the least of his worries. No reason to back him up on that subject. Anyways we can agree to disagree to not further the subject. We gotta beat Kentucky and the Georgia to give America something to celebrate.

One negative about playing with a team full of talent in HS, sometimes ya don't learn how to work hard to get better.

Ultimately the one thing I've seen in all those high rated guys from that team is a bit of a lack of "go earn it"

It's no surprise to me why the WRs that are doing well here are doing well, you listen to Hendo or Milton when they've done interviews and Velus, Payton, Tillman are always "asking to throw" after workouts, conditioning, practice etc. those dudes are always getting in extra work. Hyatt as well (his time is coming).
