Can I get a h&ll yeah……Just found out everyone is on the travel roster for Kentucky except the ones for non injury reasons…..They don’t take injured guys on the road…. Ex…. Cade didn’t travel to Bama
Also, who are our non-injury reason guys that aren’t traveling

Checked in about Calloway possibly transferring…. He hasn’t heard anything but thinks it’s possible calloway, keyton, and Holiday all could…. Calloway hasn’t been on the travel roster…. He feels it may be a discipline issue but doesnt know the reason.

This is why I think we'll have enough transfers to gain the extra 7 roster spots this year. Coach Hype is weeding out kids who don't align with his expectations (both in play and mentality it would appear).

I’ve tried to avoid this, but I’m officially at the point where I will be super disappointed if we don’t absolutely roll Kentucky on Saturday.
I still think it is important to temper expectations. The margin of error for this team is still small. I think we need to force a couple of turnovers and play turnover free ball to win tomorrow. Additionally, I hope this offense is ready to dink and dunk because Kentucky does not put many of their players on an island. I think some of our drives will look similar to the South Carolina game with lots of WR screens.

With all the new info about WR"s wanting to transfer does it really matter, think about it. With the transfer portal as it is, there will be talent out there that want to "show their talents" in a high speed offense. With the way kids move around now it is almost like pro free agents looking for the best fit but instead of a contract for money (we want discuss this part) it is about exposure and playing time. Look for them to have a Transfer "Free Agent" Signing Day sponsored by Nike and ESPN any day now.

I'll try to make this my last Ruggs' comment, no promises. We all make mistakes in life. Then we face the consequences. We've all made stupid choices at one time or another, and then dealt with the fallout. If my stupidity ever resulted in the death of another, I would absolutely believe that I deserved punishment. If people dragged me for such a stupid choice, I'd actually understand why, and probably think I deserved much worse. That's part of remorse for your actions.
I Iove a good redemption story. I want to see what he does from here. If he spends the rest of his life trying his best to help make sure this doesn't happen to somebody else then I will feel a lot differently toward him.

He doesn't deserve death or life imprisonment. He deserves more than a slap on the wrist, let's see what he and his lawyers do. He should be able to work again when he has paid his debt. He should then use that platform to help put a stop to this evil plague. If he could just be the difference in one person not taking another life through evil disregard for others...then he will have done an amazing thing.

I know a lot of people don't think that matters, but I saw a MADD sponsored thing in HS that stopped me from doing it. This lady talked to us about what happened to her daughter, and they even somehow brought in the car that she was in when a drunk driver hit her at over a hundred MPH. She also showed slides of the wreck...it scared the crap out of me and that is the reason I never drove drunk. I could never forget that no matter how jacked up I was.

So..no I don't want Ruggs to die..I want him to help fix this.

I agree with you on that. There were times against Bama I thought he should have kept it. Hope this off week they can coach that up some for this week.
Probably related to his physical status. He knew if he keep it, may have put him out of action (similar to Ole Miss). CJH has stated run fit decisions have to be better so who knows 🤷‍♂️

Whose word is that? You're seriously implying that the "brass" sabotaged the program to keep football in the forefront? That's pretty funny.

Not that they sabotaged him to keep football in the forefront but to get rid of Pearl because he had too much influence on campus. They didn’t like his level of power and many there were old school and thought that a basketball coach shouldn’t wield such authority. It was an opportunity to let him go so they just didn’t go to bat for him.

I've graduated to Peepaw status...you can't take that away from me..🥳
Funny sorry about that, my **** head SIL was doing his damndest to get my granddaughter to call me peepaw bc he knew I hated it. Had to pull him aside and tell him to knock it off and the reason as to why. Long story short I had a cousin that called my dads dad that, ans he bled him for everything he had, and it always pisses me off. That cousin ended up getting murdered in what appeared to be a drug deal gone wrong.
He got the the hint.

Keyton, Holliday, and Calloway. Calloway might decide to stick around in the end, but he was supposed to be a factor in the offense before getting hurt right before the season started and hasn't really played much since the drop against UF. He just needs to pick it up in practice and earn some trust back, but he's the perfect replacement for Velus. I think Hyatt, Coby, and Merrill are fine.
Dropping catchable balls, especially in the end zone, is not a good look and is a sure way to lose trust with the staff
