You are correct. But Jesus routinely chose the worst people to teach, help, and as his disciples. Pretty sure he hates the sin and not the person. All sin is equal in his eyes. And Jesus himself was killed for being a criminal. I don’t hate Ruggs. I hate what he did. And I’m not going to judge him because I am not without sin.What???...I think you’re confusing sin being forgiven by a Savior with committing a crime that deserves to be punished by society. The punishment brings justice, serves as a deterrent for others and helps the person who committed the crime feel like they have paid their debt. There is plenty in the Bible about punishing criminals. Jesus did not die to fix society by telling criminals that it’s okay what they did. Plenty of criminals in jail that accept that forgiveness and still serve their time.
I agree with your point, but I only remember the drop on 4th down that was well away from the endzone. Hyatt has had more drops and the coaches have stuck with him. I think the difference between Hyatt and Calloway is probably that Hyatt is doing things the way the coaches want him to in practice and Calloway evidently isn't putting in that same effort.Dropping catchable balls, especially in the end zone, is not a good look and is a sure way to lose trust with the staff
Yes and no. What he did was stupid and irresponsible and I’m sure he knows that and deeply regrets the poor decision he made. However I’ve made plenty of very poor choices and could easily be the one that caused an accident. I’m sure alot of people on this board have drivin very fast, texted and drove, drank a few and drove, plenty of other things that endangered you and potentially someone elses life. We were just a lot more fortunate than Ruggs. Thousands of people every day make poor decisions driving that results in thousands of severe accidents and deathsSo you don't condemn Ruggs' actions? You think causing the fiery death of a young woman through stupidity is okay? I'm not judging Ruggs' mortal soul, but I'm perfectly fine saying he did wrong and deserves to be punished.
Fall Creek Falls State Park is beautiful and has good hiking trails - my favorite state park in TennesseeI was going to hike to Signal Point in the next day or so. Seems like a good steep hike with a view.
Damn, that’s a scary fall in the middle of the night. Glad you’re alright. That’s cool you got up and went rappelling the next morning. I’m looking forward to Signal Point and Raccoon Mountain, too. Then get up to Looking Glass in Pisgah in NC. This is the best time of the year to go hiking/camping.
None of us are. Don't hate him either, but forgiveness does not remove accountability. When Allen Collins of Skynyrd had a drunk-driving wreck that killed his girlfriend and left him paralyzed, part of his sentence was coming out in his wheelchair and speaking to crowds at concerts about his bad choices and the consequences. Would think that part of Ruggs sentence would need to be something along these lines. You are correct. But Jesus routinely chose the worst people to teach, help, and as his disciples. Yep, I agree…. Hopefully he tries to make it as right as he can on his own…. Hopefully influence some youth that looked up to him as a player.None of us are. I disagree there, but I won't claim to be an expert on the subject. I'm sure there are some who say that, but I know there are others who don't. Empathy is a psychological term as I understand it, which simply means seeking to understand. It often leads to sympathy and compassion, but I don't think the words sympathy and empathy would both exist if they both meant the exact same thing.Sympathy and compassion are both considered synonyms for empathy.
The NCAA is such a joke. Needs to be dissolved and let the Conferencws handle. infuruating that it will take years to hear our case. That little bald headed snake shouldnt get a penny
