That's such a neat story. What a storybook season.

I honestly cannot think of a more improbable World Series champion in my lifetime than this year's Atlanta Braves. So many critical injuries - including their ace starter fracturing his leg in Game 1 (which likely led to the blowout Houston win in Game 5).

I saw where the Braves are only the second team to beat three teams that had 95+ regular season wins on their way to the Title.

Unreal. Was a joy to watch!

Pate is picking KY bc basically every model has KY winning with 65%+ confidence and some over 70%. He tries to take his own opinion out of it. It’s a weird dynamic this week. Are we just belligerent homers or is the model wrong? I’m saying the model is wrong.

Vols 41 KY 24
One of the guys on ESPN took Tennessee as Pick'em last night but I didn't hear the explanation.

From a non-biased perspective it probably does make sense to pick Kentucky.

At home, hated rival, coming off a disappointing loss, ranked over unranked, etc.

I think the Vols have a matchup advantage though with our run-D and poor passing.

Edit: I was distracted writing this. THEIR poor passing.

I want to annihilate Kentucky tomorrow. Make them beg for mercy. Crush their souls. Destroys their dreams. Leave them hopeless husks of emptiness. Make them remember their place. I want to make Mark Stoops cry and run far away from the SEC.

So let it be said. So let it be done.

We are belligerent homers...but I think this game is a toss-up at best. Kentucky is a solid football team and people thinking we are gonna roll them are going to be very disappointed.

I am concerned that this is setting up for a lot of anti-Heupel blowback if we lose, and we don't need that. A lot of people are stupid.

I hope you're right. Our run Defense is good against RBs, but it is absolutely horrid against running QBs..especially on crucial third downs.

I hope you're right.
