Right but if your aren't concerned with getting recruits on board until after the season others have built relationships and your playing catch-up. Recruiting in college ball is basically a 24/7 thing.

Yep but we don’t recruit. The coaches do and are everyday. So I’m not worrying about it

Poor Hyams, he really thought he had the scooped VQ on Brohm. RE: Fuente, I have to admit, when we fired Butch in '17, wishing we could lure Fuente away. He went 10-4 and 9-4 in his first two years, but recruiting has been terrible for VT last couple.

He'd have been better than Pruitt.

Kind of, but people on here act like they are recruiting and are panicked because we haven’t had a commitment lately.
The coaches are recruiting and I’m sure know a little better where we stand with recruits than the average fans

I was right there with you. He was my want he killed it at Memphis and just flamed out. Hiring coaches away from other teams and cultures are hit or miss.

Thanks for sharing that. I’ve never been to Fall Creek Falls. Will have to make my way there. Looks great! I’m from TN, but oddly have spent most of my mountain time in NC and a lot out west. Plenty more to explore in TN.

I don't know anything about Cole Beasley, but I definitely support lying to the media about personal business. If you're having marital issues and someone asks you "how's your marriage?" you can lie to them because that question wasn't their business to ask and there's now no way to avoid giving them the answer without lying.

We are belligerent homers...but I think this game is a toss-up at best. Kentucky is a solid football team and people thinking we are gonna roll them are going to be very disappointed.

I am concerned that this is setting up for a lot of anti-Heupel blowback if we lose, and we don't need that. A lot of people are stupid.

Yeah, I'm afraid if we win it's gonna be another case of "we still haven't beaten anybody yet", and if we lose it's gonna be "we can't win the big games." Mizzou and usce were both big games until we won; then they weren't.

When FSU got Norvell, I was wishing we had him instead of Pruitt. Bottom line, even sure bets don't work out. See Strong back in 2013, we all crushed on him, he jilts us. Butch is plan B. Then Strong flames out at Texas...where it's way easier to win.
