Ok, I never played or really studied the game. The more I watch, the more I pick up. But for those that did, is what Heupal is doing with Hooker really incredible? I see a QB who just looks at a read or two, but Heupal creates such easy mismatches that it’s genius. I’ve thought about it more and more, and Hooker hardly ever scrambles to make a pass. If he gets pressure, he either gets sacked or just tucks it and runs.

I’m not bashing the kid because he throws a great ball and is really talented. But I believe this is a case where coaching is really putting him in a position to succeed.

100%. He never looked even close to this at VA Tech. The only thing he needs to fix is the mesh and maybe keep a few more times. It's unbelievable how good he's been. Thought it was a bad take by Pruitt at the time but I hope he comes back

And importantly that one option is damn near open every time

With our situation and the handcuffed roster, Heupel has at minimum realigned where we fall in the pecking order in the east. We can expect to beat the teams we should annually going forward (usc, mizz, uk,vandy).

I don't know what his ceiling is here, but its safe to say given the circumstances, we are witnessing the floor now, which is a good thing to build on. GBO!

How can you hide it when you say the entire back 7 (not AT) is essentially slow? Then we have a pass rush problem on top. How exactly do you hide that?

Well I agree with recruiting, but there is nothing they can really do about it this year.

He's in hospice so he doesn't really have a primary care doc. But yes, we're going to have to do something. Something is wrong beyond the HE and no one is listening. He needs the services hospice provides but hospice prevents a lot of things. We are caught in a catch 22. If I take him to UT (assuming I can even get him there since ambulance service refused to go out of county) I think maybe I can get answers but he will lose care for those answers and isn't mobile enough to just drop hospice all together. It's a messed up situation.

Just went through this with my father in June and yes hospice does prevent a lot of things, but really helped out in a time of need and helped guide us through a very difficult time.

Not only has Coach Hype changed this team on the field but how he has changed the whole environment in the locker room is just as amazing as what he has done on the field. Like we all have read how before JH came in all the players never wanted to hang out in the facilities but know they don't want to leave. Just love this stuff.
