That's awesome..the only 2 songs I was bummed that they didn't play was Creeping Death and Harvester of Sorrow.

When it comes to trying to match their speed while I'm playing, I comfort myself by remembering my age.
Then I also remember that James and Kirk are both older than me : /

Then I just go with "yeah.. but being a Vol fan automatically adds like another 40 years!!"
I think that's fair.

If it is legit, then it is not an excuse...it is a valid reason. I don't like how the defense performed last night either, but this was an aberration...against a really good OL being allowed to get away with murder and a QB playing the game of his life..and yet they scored a defensive TD and bowed up and stopped Kentucky when it mattered the most.

They are badly outmanned...that is not an excuse, it the reason. This staff has sqeezed everything they can out of this roster, and I am proud of them..
No it most certainly was not. That’s there M.O.
3rd and long is almost an automatic first down.
Ole Miss, Bama, UF, Kentucky
Nobody is arguing that they are playing hard and don’t quit, that the coaches have gotten all they could from them or that they lack depth. They are just not up to SEC caliber talent at most positions.
Corral, Jones at UF and last night,QB’s all had the games of their life. Reason, excuse, tomato tomoto.

Ok, I never played or really studied the game. The more I watch, the more I pick up. But for those that did, is what Heupal is doing with Hooker really incredible? I see a QB who just looks at a read or two, but Heupal creates such easy mismatches that it’s genius. I’ve thought about it more and more, and Hooker hardly ever scrambles to make a pass. If he gets pressure, he either gets sacked or just tucks it and runs.

I’m not bashing the kid because he throws a great ball and is really talented. But I believe this is a case where coaching is really putting him in a position to succeed.
Definitely a good bit of each. You don't have a 190 QBR...10.2 YPA...21 TD/2 INT with just 1 of the 2.

It's definitely amazing how guys can get schemed open, but also great to see him actually FIND the open guys, which we haven't seen in a good while. He's also dropping some absolute DIMES. I can only think of 2 off passes last night and both were probably TDs, but he also nailed plenty of them too and made some throws not many can.

I know @Ulysees E. McGill has harped on this, but I just rewatched a lot of the game and UK’s blatant holding on offense is amazing. It’s like every snap, and sometimes by multiple OL.

I think anyone down on our defense, especially the lack of sacks and TFLs should consider that. With different reffing I think UK stalls on MANY of those productive drives of there’s and our defense gets off the field much quicker.

We dropped from 118th to 126th in 3rd down defense. Almost allowing 50%. For a top TFL team, that's truly mindblowing.

We have a long offseason ahead figuring that out.
